There are some differences how it is handled. In some counties they need you agreement, I think in Israel you are forced to get "stripped" (for obvious reason) an sometimes it is used just without letting you know.

But it's actually a big deal.

In Israel, (have been there) you need just one hour of interview, wich can be very interrogating, and a standard search.

What? there are already devices invented which bodyscans you on a distance of 10 meters and more. 120.000 Euro are just the cheap ones. Don't think that those silly caskets you found on airports are all. xD

And I haven't really said that everyone in Israel is beeing scanned 24h a day.

I agree. If people would stop promoting the ideals as a cure-all for every social woe known to man in these threads it wouldn't come into conversation at all. And in my case, it's not paranoia, it's loathing for the politics, not the supporters or victims of it. And the same can be said for capitalism so let's just leave that crap alone and debate the topics at hand. ;)

Hmm... I believe the stereotype originates from the 1500s. You see, in most European countries at the time, Jews were not allowed to hold land (They were blamed for the plagues, and other natural disasters by Christianity). Therefore they could not farm. So you see, they instead the moved into the city and became big bankers. This enabled them to get rich when the 1700's came, and soon they had quite a bit of control in the government.

 

Jews still hold many financial positions in many countries, such as public taxing. This has given them the stereotype of having tons of cash, and has given the rise of the term 'Jews, and their Jew Gold' in less reputable forums.

Well, it's a real shame that these things are neccessary. However, I don't have any problem with it, it's they airport security that will have to process thousands of hairy butts day in and day out, poor things. Not to mention, it's a small sacrifice it it means the risk of being murdered while airborne will be lowered. Of course, I'm not in any danger to be oogled by some brutish securityguards, either, so I honestly don't have anything to 'lose'.

Whoah Whoah... Calm down. I wrote that with the intent of informing. I've seen so many racial slurs in the small amount of time I've been alive that I'm desensitized to it. I just don't care about race anymore. Except maybe Khaajits. :laugh:

I don't think anyone needs a lesson on the 'history' of anti semitism, any more than they need one on the plights of any religious or ethnic minority. The fact that an obivous religious SLAM was posted here at nexus and is now being ignored or dismissed is WRONG. I don't care about the context.

Personally, I'd rather die than expose my ass to some horny airport workers. I'm sure many women would say the same. BTW It's not only the ass. It's also the @#$%, @#$#@, and @#$%@#@.......

 

They aren't necessary 'really' necessary. A better form of technology that would surpass this morally is a device that uses the same concept, but like a CT scanner, scans bodies horizontally instead of giving a full body blow. It might take longer, but at least I don't have to worry about those fat horny guards!

It´s all the way back in the time of antique. There was a saying that the Greeks was the best traders.

They said it took 2 Arabs to cheet a Jew, and 2 Jews to cheet a Greek. This saying is original.

OK, lets say this is the first generation of naked scanner which is going to be produced in huge numbers.

The next gen devices will be much cheaper and probably better. They'll be on every entrance of every building.
