Baphomet
I have Vivec's soul sitting in Azura's Star, and I took the second "Wraithguard" from his corpse. Now I have two questions: One: What's the best thing to do with Vivec's soul? I'm looking for some suggestions for some really good enchantments, as I want to be sure I don't waste this one-time opportunity (1000 points... w00t!!). And... Two: I'm now looking for the two books I need to get the second Wraithguard repaired. The last living Dwarf told me that, most likely, they lie somewhere in an abandoned Dwemer ruin... but that's a LOT of hunting. Could someone NUDGE me in the right direction? Please don't spell it out for me, I don't mind searching, but something general, like North end of Vradenfell, West coast area... something like that would be appreciated. Maybe just point me in the right direction?? Thanks!
tmons78
if you want to find the books, start looking for some dwemer ruins in the red mountain area. i'm sure you'll find what you're looking for in there. as for the enchantment with vivec's soul? hmmm, i would say to put one of your favorite, most destructive spells as cast on strikes to any weapon. with vivec's soul, you would have a lot of charges on that weapon. oh well, hope that helps. Marxist ßastard
No, a cast-on-use Daedric Towershield would be best. A sword would never use the soul to its full potential. If that doesn't work out for you, there's always Almalexia.
Darmoth
You can soul trap the queen b*tch herself? Oooh. Mesa have much fun with that. :D
eldritch
Yes. Her soul gives a charge of 1500 vs 1000 for Vivec and 400 for a Golden Saint or Ascended Sleeper. If you trap her in Azura's Star the retail value is 7,500,00 (vs 5,000,000 for Vivec and 2,000,00 for the GS or AS). Since 400 is the threshold for Constant Effect the extra charge is pretty much wasted unless you build a Daedric Dai-Katana with 50+ Absorb Health or some other expensive destructive spell with Casts on Strike. You'll get a lot of charges but it will take a long time to recharge it unless you have one of the mods which fools around with enchantments and regeneration times. Baphomet
if you want to find the books, start looking for some dwemer ruins in the red mountain area. i'm sure you'll find what you're looking for in there. Ummmmm... well I did ask for generalities... but gosh, the Red Mountain area covers an AWFUL lot of territory, depending on how you look at it. Unless you mean that PARTICULAR dwemer ruin INSIDE the Ghost Fence? Am I getting warmer??
Nevex
Baphomet, just to let you know there is two books and two diffrent ruins, one will not be marked on your map and the others will but it is not Dagoth Ur, and I believe there are 5? Dwemer ruins in the Red Mountain area. If you need a slight bit more help they are relative to 4 corners and 1 center. EDIT: Oh yes and I was refering to the Ghostfence area... thanateros
There's always the option of making a rather high absorb health DDK that will last for uber amounts of hits. needless to say abosrb spells i think are the most benefitial for melee combat weapons. for souls like that it would also be really pointless to use it for something constant effect, with those many charges cast on striking is the only way to go it seems. Baphomet
There's always the option of making a rather high absorb health DDK that will last for uber amounts of hits.Hmmmmmmm... I kinda like that idea. If I could tack on a little Paralysis as well, that would be a truly awesome weapon. Now... off to find those darn books!! Thanks for the assist(s), everyone! Could someone NUDGE me in the right direction?Didn't you talk to Vivec before err ... disposing of this god-creature? There are several lists of notes on a stand near back wall of palace room. If I remember corerectly they will explain most topics about all ancient dwemer weapons used at the final stages of the game.
