Can I replace companion appearance with that of another companion?

Having a mod manager open shouldn't cause an issue. Double check the INI edits. Make sure they are in the correct locations. I've not had any issues loading multiple master files. If everything is correct, I have no idea why it still does not work for you.

Update- finally got it to work. If you set mod you want to import the character appearance from as a master in Bash, and set the mod you want to replace the follower with as active, loading both in CK, If you set both mods as ESM's the CK doesn't like it even changing the SkytimEditor.ini file. Weirdly, the ini reverted on me, no idea why.

Also, if you set another file a master to make further changes, it screws up the original changes.

It took a huge chunk of time to make essentially a small cosmetic change, but it was a learning experience.

Thanks for the advice, IM.

Update: For some reason, Ceri reverted to her baseline appearance after playing for weeks with her borrowed face. I haven't changed anything else in the game I'm aware of. I checked and she still has the traits of the other mod's follower (Jessica) but in game and in preview, she has the original mod face.

Any ideas?

Update: No improvement with redoing mod order (I thought it might have gotten screwed up so put the desired face mod ahead of the follower mod). I reinstalled the mod with desired face and the problem seems solved. Now I have duplicate mods in my list...
