LOL unlock spell glitches!

Ok, today I was just playing oblivion on my mage character, and i was having some fun shooting people with harmless spells while i was waiting for something.

I found out that if you face toward a door then cast the unlock spell, the door symbol shows up.

So, being the Inquisitive type i tried pressing the open button rapidly after casting the spell, and WALA!, you can teleport across large distances just by faceing a door, casting a unlock spell, and rapidly pressing your use/open key. MAGIC!

And another glitch I found out when doing this is in that annoying quest "Aid For Bruma" you look at the oblivion gate you're meant to close and cast your unlock spell.

As soon as you cast the spell it comes up with a quest log thingy saying you have closed the oblivion gate.

Does that work with every Gate, or just that one?

Sweet, thank you so much for that information. I always hated that quest and another way to skip it is readily taken.
