harvengure
Anyone else find the total lack of Imga from the Elder Scrolls series to be odd? I've recently gotten back into Skyrim and it occurred to me that I might expect to see at least a couple of them with the Thalmore.Thoughts, theories, opinions? Arthmoor
There hasn't been a game taking place in Valenwood yet that would give them an opportunity to show us.
harvengure
Indeed, there hasn't (and we can hope) but as we've seen all throughout the TES, it is hardly as if every member of a specific race tend to stay in their native location.
Lachdonin
The Imga have never been seen outside of Valenwood. They are an exceptionally minor race, like the Hespest. More importantly though, they are idiots. The Thalmor would never bring them along on anything even approaching an important mission.
harvengure
As said, TES has shown that species (either by their own will or by the will of others) hardly ever and definitely not in their -entirely- stay in their native regions. Also, they are dumb. Big, dumb, dexterous and strong idolizers of the Altmer. Someone who's not to bright but big and strong and quick and sees me as their superior? That's someone i'd bring to keep people in order.

They even murder their own children bacause of perceived imperfections. They are totally unable of recognising the advantages offered by other races. harvengure
And yet they have trolls that guard the Crystal Tower....
Lachdonin
And yet they have trolls that guard the Crystal Tower.... Humans used guard dogs. Doesn't mean they'd haul their attack dogs halfway across the world to serve on espionage and diplomacy missions. We don't see any of the Dominions goblin slaves, Khajiiti assassins or Bosmer cannibals in Skyrim either, do we? harvengure
We do see Khajiiti assassins Khajiiti assassins in Skyrim. Was attacked by one just the other day in....Riften I think it was.
Lachdonin
I think your still missing the point of the umga being next to useless. Moonpath to Elsweyr paints the imlga as big, strong troll-standins, but the reality is, while certainly strong, they're next to useless. The emulate everything the Altmer do, but worse than an Altmer. They'd never resort to being a bruiser like opponent, becaue the Altmer wouldn't do that. If they're just inferior Altmer, why take hem anywhere? Edited July 20, 2014 by Lachdonin
