Questions You Always Wanted To Ask...

Here's one for you. Why is it that no matter how much money you give to beggars, they still don't buy shoes, medicine etc.?

And slightly off topic, why do people type MOD instead of mod?

I don't think the shopkeepers like beggers too much

(Possible Simulation of why beggars don't have shoes)

Beggar: Good Day Fine Sir

Shopkeep:Oh, Hello

Begger: I've got some coins saved up for some shoes. Kin I git some?

Shopkeep: Uh... I'm afraid our a few coins short. There is a disposition fee...

Beggar: But the item list say-

Shopkeep: GET BACK OUT THERE AND BEG!

Odder still, these beggars could simply look in the nearest barrel or crate for shoes (they certainly look in them for food to eat, I've seen it happen).

Doing "The Ultimate Heist" this weekend I was reminded of a question that I'm sure somebody already mentioned in a previous post— what do blind monks do in a library? Sniff the paper?

How can you use a cure paralysis potion when you are... paralyzed?!

Self-medicating stimpak injector installed in your powered battle armor.

Wait, that may be from another game.

On the subject of paralysis, the book "Incident in Necrom" mentions using Paralysis on a vampire. Isn't that like trying to poison an Argonian or freeze a ghost?

Apparently the monks arent actually "blind", they just keep their blindfolds on until they need to read something, least im pretty sure how that works, kinda dumb though

The 'retired' monks are completely blind, because they read too many elder scrolls. That's what happens when you (correctly, so not what the player sees when looking at the scroll) read elder scrolls. Those not yet blind only take the blindfold off to read, yes.
