tgpardu
I just loaded the frostcrag spire add-in. gotta say, the elemental companion is almost more trouble than it's worth. The thing keeps getting lost. Overall a decent place to hang out, but none of the supposed portals to the Mages Guild halls in each of the cities seems to work. any comments? Eshenaleros
try using this mod. Should help with that, and make it cooler to boot
BlackerrR
I used Atronach 2 or 3 times. They won't enter dungeons, and they are very slow, so I decided NEVER MORE. But cool thing about Frostcrag Spire is Daedric Drink found in Vault, and I like it.
tgpardu
try using this mod. Should help with that, and make it cooler to boot I looked up your mod, looked interesting. Do I need to load COBL or not? Is the Avalon Aeylid ruin part of the mod, too?
Eshenaleros
I've never run it with COBL, and I don't know if the dungeon is part of it - I haven't gotten the chance to do much with the tower, as I currently don't have access to the game

Ferryt
I know I'm dredging up an old topic (well, it's not that old, but I really have a couple things to add to this thread. Companions in general can be a royal pain in the behind. My first one was the Rabies Dire Wolf mod and he was always getting lost, not following me through doors, and basically being more of a nuisance than a help. Bethesda didn't design this game with companions in mind, and that includes the ones they designed, themselves. Frostcrag Reborn, mentioned by one poster, thoroughly borked my game, and I mean thoroughly. It seemed to install OK, but on the way up the stairs to the door I noticed that one of the teleport pads was buried in the stairs. Several others were missing altogether. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it (yes I did a clean save game) and it was just the same. I uninstalled it and in the place of Frostcrag, itself, was just the base of the structure and big yellow squares with exclamation points (missing texture flags). I finally wound up having to do a clean reinstall of the entire game to get it back. Now, that might just have been a glitch, since I know people have played through the entire quest line for Frostcrag Reborn without any problems at all, but others have reported the misplaced teleport pads, as well. Installing this mod might be the best thing you ever did (the quest looks fantastic and I really like what it did for the interior of Frostcrag, except for the fps hit I took) but it might also cause you no end of frustration and annoyance if it breaks things like it does with some people.
