Various NPCs wear different clothing not just your own character.

Having all these cool and sexy outfits for your own characters is great, but why not make it so that other characters in the game would also wear different clothing. Just to add variation.

 

Perhaps a mod like this already exists, if so please let me know. I would really appreciate it.

Like 'NPC New Clothes'?

It usually involves editing NPC inventory, and it can conflict with various mods that edit same vanilla NPCs. Without making some merged patch(like bashed patch via Wrye Bash), it may not work properly. Also many clothing mods are made for specific body replacer, and if you're using different body replacer, you will have issues with added clothes(like messed-up skin, namely 'nipples on thigh').

 

**Alternately, you can give some cool clothes/armor to NPCs using inventory share mod, like Active Inventory Spell.

On a low note, hehe. More than half of the characters in Vanilla Oblivion are just too ugly to be wearing sexy clothing. Imagine Earandil, or any Orcs wearing skimpy clothing. I shudder at the thought.

try CNRP (cyrodil npcs remodeling project)

you can actually load both of them together, however, some npcs are affected by both mods so only the one that loads last will take effect

 

 

 

personally, I load npc new clothes first, then cnrp last. I also have TNR bashed in so npcs have better faces

using the 3 NPC remodeled cities that are available even without wrye Brash (have no idea what it does or

how to use it) Thank you again.

dont forget the cnrp for the fighters guild and dark brotherhood. you can also look up the ezios assassin gear which has an optional esp that makes all DB robes look amazing
