As many of you know, Exnem has not returned to the site since January 16, 2010. On December 1, 2009, Exnem posted "The only one who can speak on my behalf is Storm Raven". I have been in regular telephone contact with him over the intervening period. Many changes have taken place in his life, and on April 4, 2010, he instructed me to close this site. He told me at that time that he did not plan on returning to this site, modding, or this community.

 

Therefore, following his instructions Exnem's Body Works, will be closing permanently. This is not the path I would've chosen, but it is the path I have been given, so I will endeavor to follow his instructions as closely as possible.

 

He has instructed me to disclose the following: Seven days from now, this website will no longer exist, it's memory will be a reminder to those in this community that Exnem will not support conflict over the use of his works by individuals seeking personal gain or operating on personal agendas. Exnem is distraught, that so much fighting has occurred over his gifts to the community. We will all be watching to see if anyone pays attention to this warning.

 

I am further instructed to tell you that he wishes the conflicts over his works to end, and if they do not, he will personally return in order to revoke all licenses to use his work or derivatives of his work. Please heed this warning, as I have been assured, that he will surely do so, if these conflicts do not end.

 

He has also requested, that the site owner of EyeCandy Ginnyfizz, remove all content relating to his original or derivative works from her website. That website was originally created to honor Exnem and his original body mod for Oblivion, but he feels that the current ownership has insulted him and his work beyond his ability to accept these offenses. This is to include all mods, images, derivatives of his works, and any other material relating to Exnem, or his works.

 

Should a new site owner appear, he will consider rescinding this order. We shall see as a community, whether or not Ginnyfizz, a self-styled champion of the rights of modders, will honor his request or not. I speak with the full authority invested in me by Exnem on this matter.

 

There are many members of the community, who feel that Ginnyfizz's tenure of ownership over that site, has been managed poorly, even incompetently and that her personal relationship with Kendo 2, has blinded her to the best interests of her membership. She has made many false and misleading statements, and he will no longer support her decisions or EyeCandy so long as it remains under her ownership.

 

Exnem, is thoroughly disgusted with many of the decisions Ginnyfizz has made, but he wishes it to be made clear that he has no problems with the membership of that website. The members cannot be blamed for the actions of the site owner.

 

These are his words not mine. He has been greatly saddened by the continuing conflicts Ginnyfizz, and Kendo 2 have created in the membership of EyeCandy. Conflicts that have caused many members to leave her site and begin other sites, honoring his work.

 

He is the only founding member of EyeCandy that still exists, as Ginnyfizz has deleted so many membership accounts, for nothing more than disagreeing with her. He feels that she has acted capriciously in her treatment of her membership, and continues to act as an example of the exact opposite of what a good site owner should be.

 

Kendo 2, once used his staff position here, without any permission from Exnem or the administration of this website, to attempt to influence another website, TES Adventures, in an attempt to broaden the intersite warfare between EyeCandy, and TES Adventures to include Exnem's Body Works. Kendo 2 was summarily fired from his position here as a member of the staff.

 

Exnem believes that Kendo 2 is a man who feels the end justifies the means, no matter what the cost to others might be. Ginnyfizz, biased by her deeply personal relationship with Kendo 2 continues to justify his actions, in light of his defense of her and her positions. Exnem apologizes to TES Adventures and their members for any misunderstandings caused by Kendo 2's and Ginnyfizz's unauthorized actions on his behalf.

 

Ginnyfizz, and Kendo 2 have both been banned from Exnem's Body Works, by a direct order from Exnem, as a result of their continued and divisive policies in this community.

 

Exnem will not condone conflict, over the works he has freely given to this community, and he roundly condemns those who would fight over his gifts for their own personal agendas. If his requests above are not met, he will return, to personally revoke all licenses to use his work or derivatives of his work. He has made this clear to me in the most unequivocal terms.

 

He has given me these instructions and I have carried them out. The future of his works will depend on whether or not his wishes are respected. Ignore them at your peril.

Storm Raven called me this afternoon and asked me to confirm the statement above.

I have read and approved this statement, no one should doubt its authenticity.

As far as I can tell, Exnem has asked for the dissolution of the collection of his works at EyeCandy forums, but not the stopping of the distribution elsewhere, unless he feels that they aren't being appreciated by the community in the way he had intended.

 

I have not posted this to incite drama, I just felt that it needed to be posted. I personally am sorry to see these extreme measures taken, being oblivious to any of the problems that Storm Raven has mentioned, but have no opinion on the EyeCandy forums, Ginnyfizz or Kendo 2.
