Headjulian
Hi, I've encountered a game-breaking problem and I don't know what to do :(In "Stendarr's Mercy" quest about the Crusaders Gloves, when I spoke to Areldur, and got the quest update when I got to pray at the chapel to get the "Lay Hands" spell, NOTHING HAPPENS! I only get the regular blessing and when I activate the shrine again it only says that I already recieved a blessing today. I've tried to skip the quest stage but it seems I cannot find the proper quest id, and I've also tried to add the gauntlets via console but again i don't have the proper code. Please help, does anybody have the codes or maybe could tell me how to fix this in the CS? Cause I'm out of ideas
Deleted1662706User
This can be quite an annoying glitch. Heres the console code to help you. setstage ND06 50 This makes this happen in your Quest Log I have prayed at the altar in the Chapel of Stendarr, and have been granted the ability to Lay Hands on Kellen. I need to see him at once. And heres the Gauntlets: Use player.additem here xx000ECD 1-6 xx000EC5 7-10 8 xx000EBF 11-15 xx000EB9 16-20 xx000EB3 21+ I guess the xx is just simply 00, so for the 21+ player.additem 00000EB3 Hope this fixes your problem! nosisab
make sure you talk with both, Areldur and the afflicted knight's descendant (more than once). when that's done correctly, it's said Areldur is hiding something and you must press him to talk about it's lack of courage to do what is needed (meaning he knows), at this point you must agree with taking the curse on yourself. If that does not happens, so you may have messed the quest in prior console attempts. In that case this page may be your only hope.
bamspeedy
I guess the xx is just simply 00, so for the 21+ player.additem 00000EB3 The xx means that it will vary depending on where Knights is in your load order. You can use OBMM to show the Form ID code (what the xx is) by just hovering your mouse over the mod. Or you can count the mods and convert it into hex. Converting goes like this: First mod (#1)=00 Note: This should be oblivion.esm2nd=01 (the next .esm if you have any more, otherwise it would be the first .esp)3rd=024th=030405060708090A0B0C0D0E0F101112131415161718191A
Jenrai
Maybe a silly question HeadJulian... do you have the Knights Unofficial Patch installed? From what I remember it addressed a glitch that could occur at this stage of the quest, methinks. Jenrai
