thanateros
Well it's simple, how do you get your character from one place to the other? I have to say going to places involves walking, just because you never know what you'll find along a trail you've never been on before. For questing it's the same deal, I usually don't care how long it takes to get somewhere, but when the dungeon is cleared and the quest item found I usually divine intervention or Almsivi intervention to the nearest town (usually Molag Mar for some reason) and take the silt strider outta there. Peregrine
For exploring, foot + boots of blinding speed of course. For quests that involve a lot of running around over long distances, I'll use whatever of the other methods is closest.
Marxist ßastard
Bah, foot for me. Just have to appreciate the detail put into the West Gash and pick up some miscellaneous quests. ...and it gives me a chance to train some feral Guar... If I'm in a hurry, I'll use boat and mark/recall. I can't use Siltstrider services because I cerimonially killed two of the creatures to make my home. ¬¬ ¬¬

Marxist ßastard
Sure... What do you think Redorans make their homes out of, mosquitoes? And what, exactly, do you think those giant faded-out insect carcasses all over the Ashlands once were? And training feral Guar involves casting a Command Creature scroll at them and leading them to Galsa Gindu or the Blades Trainer that owns a Guar ranch somewhere in the West Gash. Jetty
Hey, there is something missing at the poll - propylon chambers! If you have all indexes its easy to travel all around Vvardenfel and get at a short walking distance to most places. The biggest disadvantage of this system - chamber graphics slow down almost any PC. That's why I have used them only once while making Pilgrimage of Silence. For ordinary tasks I mostly go on foot, mark/recall is for moneymaking but travel services and intervention magic for fast delivering of quest results.
