darkin25
Ok, you know in the quest "Blood of the deada?" You give up a deadic artifact blah blah blah...Anyway, the artifact they point you to is Azura's star. ONE OF THE BEST ARTIFACTS. Now, it may be that the artifact is PERMANATLY GONE. Get where I'm getting at? I saw nothing saying it was a teporary thing, the undoing of the artifact. So, it may be in TES V Azura's star may be gone! anyone find anything that says otherwise? Pronam
Hm, yeah..but it's also a bit strange that you can retrieve it in morrowind as well eh? So why wouldn't it be 'consumed' in morrowind already? It's safe to say that there are multiple artifacts. 'It's a delicate process that daedra don't like at all', but that doesn't say they could do it a multiple of times :). Or that the star just simple 'returns' to Azura upon its use. Just my thoughts though.
Pronam
But then again, the next game is a mystery itself. Maybe Azura will take another role, or be a main role..and reward you with another gift :).Still, the player was allowed to give up any artifact they wanted. The true reason for the quest of Azura is that you'll be able to contract vampirism. And like with morrowind, You could have killed Vivec, so they simply let him 'disappear', that may be the same for any artifacts that has been used until know. You got a point, it'll be waiting on how Bethesda will approach it. Either they'll have a new set of artifacts, there'll be another reason why a few aren't present..or they'll find a way to return them all.If it's true about 200 years leap...a lot might have changed. Fonger
No law says it has to be Azura's Star And Bethesda ain't gonna customize all the games . . . "new game, select the artifact that will be missing"

"new game, select the artifact that will be missing"The second half is my point. They point you in the direction of Azura's star. Which means, they just might want to get rid of it like that. But, I don't know. Anything could happen inbetween oblivion and the new one.
BlackerrR
I think that Daedras can create multiple artifacts, whenever they want, I mean it's like...Imagine that people can make coffee ONLY once in lifetime. However, only Bethesda know what to do. ILikeFudge
I doubt that Bethesda would do that.Azura's Star is very useful object and it is praised in the community.I don't see the reason why would they remove it.And if they would, soon enough there would be a mod adding the Star back into the game.
