This is my 2nd time posting this because I just got another laptop

i5 2410m 2.3~2.9 ghz

Nvidia Gt540M 2gb

8gb ram

I wish to run these 2 mods ans Ive never had a chance to test FO3 on my laptop yet (its not with me at the moment) though Ive seen the same specs on FNV for 50fpds stable

Any help ?

First, you should get the game installed and running, before you add any mods. Just because someone with similar specifications can run New Vegas, does not mean you can run Fallout 3. The games are similar, not identical.

Fallout 3 requires that the CPU be limited to 2 cores, so you will have to edit the fallout3.ini. Also, Fallout3 places a heavier load on the graphics card than New Vegas.

After you get the game running, then you can think about adding mods. See this: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/652876-fallout-3-modding-and-you/

I did run it up to the baby walking point ._. But if Fallout 3 really does take up more gpu, Im totally screwed

I believe you are still in the 2D part of the game. The trouble will show up when the game switches to 3D. I am unsure when this happens, but I believe it is after you have created your character and wake up.
