Darcstar
i was swimming around solstheim and i found this ship wreck and on it was this light that never goes out called the nightwatchman or something, but my questions is...of what relevance is it to the game? Switch
er none i dont think. sounds a bit like just something the devs put in for some fun. like the book captain fishy sticks, or crassius curio :P

thanateros
or M'Aiq the Liar. Just cause something is there doesn't necessarily mean it has that much relevance to the game. I mean if you were working on the same thing day in and out for 2 years I'm sure at some point you'd walk into work one day, feeling all silly and just add some random bit into the game on the hopes that it we be as memorable as any relevant quest, like Tarhiel, the mage that plummets a mile into the ground just outside Seyda Neen, funny and memorable. Marxist ßastard
It's a steel box, of course. You keep things like bittergreen roots in it, keeps 'em fresh, with a little netch blood. Or is that a hormador? Yes. Or spiders. In the box. Spider eggs. Keeps 'em fresh. With netch blood. You wouldn't have any with you, eh? Spider eggs? Nice fresh ones? So, go ahead. Show me the hordador. Hormador? You got it with you? Always happy to get some fresh spider eggs. Or spiders? When I was a MUCH younger, we grew our own spiders... ...In hormadors. Big ones. Needed 'em big, for the spiders. What? Spiders? You listening? Spiders. That's what I said. Big ones. So you need a big hortator. Ours was steel, with silver plating. Kier-jo used to polish it. Cute little kitty. Had it since it was a bitty kitty. Gone now, of course. Dropped dead. They get old, and you have to get new ones. Never quite as good as the old ones, of course, but what can you do. Oh! There you are, %PCName! What was your name again? Are you listening to me? [Mistress Therana continues to chatter amiably, with no sign of stopping. She looks like she could go on forever.] [Yes, indeed. Sustained as she is by the necromantic arts, it may be that she can, in fact, go on forever. Chattering amiably. Without stopping. Ever.] Yup, you have gotta love Therana. Otherwise, she'll stick you in the basement with the spiders. The ones that she grew in the hormador. Too bad there's a Grandmaster writ out for her if you're in the Morag Tong. And about the Eye of the Nightwatchman, does it never burn out once you have it equipped, or does it disappear from your inventory after a set amount of time like other lanterns?
