sigilstone17
This is my first time visit to these forums, just goes to show how troublesome my issue is. I use DownThemAll! for Mozilla Firefox to download all my mods off the Elder Scrolls Nexus and recently every time I set a download for a file over 2mbs it instead downloads a file called "download.php.html". The file opens up a new Firefox window that takes me to the login screen (Even though I'm already logged in) and that then takes me to the server select screen while it downloads "download.php.html" again, rinse, repeat. File under 2mbs download just fine and using the "Save File" option in Firefox works fine as well. I've exhausted all my other options and I can't find a solution myself, this problem never occurred before the March 15th network upgrade that the Nexus did and I have dial-up so I need to use DownThemAll! for my mods (it's the only thing I got that will download the files one at a time on my extremely limited bandwidth.) Any help will be extremely appreciated.
Dark0ne
Hi there, DownThemAll! and any download managers/accelerators won't work on the site unless you're a premium member. Unfortunately the way the downloads are setup are to prevent bandwidth leechers and overzealous downloaders from exploiting the site, the down-side is it can make it hard for users on dial-up to use the site without a stable connection. This isn't going to change any time soon I'm afraid.
