dpcollier128
Does the general install order change for patch 1.7? What is the general install order for Fallout 3, the DLC, mods, mod management software, patches, etc.? I've looked all around, can't find any strait answers. EDIT: This is the install order I THINK it should have: Fallout 3Patch 1.7DLCFOMMFOSEUnoffical patches (for whatever reason)Mods How's that gonna work? phoneyLogic
Yep, this should work. Regarding the unofficial patch, better leave it, So you'd end up like this: Removing any files of previous installsCleaning the system (CCleaner)latest GfWL-ClientFallout 3Patch 1.7DLCFOMMFOSEModsDefragmentingStarting Fallout once via the default Launcher ... good luck :)

dpcollier128
nope, maybe an extra portion luck? :D lol I know! The second disc is a female dog to install! I have win xp. :'( But I found a way around the "no disc in the drive" glitch. :) EDIT: lol b**** = female dog??? :D classic
phoneyLogic
WinXP is perfect. Vista and Win7 would require an additional work around the UAC problem which I forgot to mention and which just doesn't exist on XP, thankfully

Fonger
BTW: I have Fallout 3: GOTY edition. Any changes to the order?install both disks - that way you already have the patch and the DLC then install the rest and of course if on Win7 or Vista don't install to the default location.
