Do you like to listen to music while you mod? If so what kind?

I like to listen to heavy metal when I mod. If anyone else does what kind of music do you like to listen to?

Well, I usually listen to my favourites (namely Cotton Eye Joe and Popcorn) but I find it hard to listen to music, and try to do stuff at the same time. It's like, tuning my radio and filling in a form at the same time. Its a good idea though :tongue:

Post-rock mainly. It's atmospheric, and the usual lack of vocals makes it easy to concentrate on the work.

I mainly listen to ambient music while modding, Underworld or Puscifer mostly.

ghehe. Number 1 is music I made with my band - not because I'm a fan of myself, but for improvement reasons.

Second is anything that is way to loud and has disortion guitar in it ;D

What I listen to depends on my mood. I usually listen to Classical or Celtic music. Sometimes I listen to Hard Rock or Heavy Metal. Sometimes a mix of all of them (yes, I'm weird, I know :teehee: ).

Pink Floyd mostly, it puts my brain into the creative zone, especially for writing. :smile: Or trance like Delerium and Conjure One.

 

At other times one of my favourite artists Warren Zevon or a compilation of 60's and 70's protest songs.

 

Then depending on my mood, heavy metal like Nightwish, Judas Priest's Nostradamus or my all time favourite Alice Cooper, especially his Brutal Planet album.

Opeth or Dream Theater. I love their long instrumental songs.

I used to listen to more brutal things but i found it hard to concentrate.
