Control your level-ups?

There are a variety of reasons you may be eligible for a level-up, but choose not to take it.

-You may want to save the full health/stamina/magicka restore that comes with a level-up, so you can use it when you're getting pummeled in battle.

-You may want to train the full five times per level.

-You may want to keep the enemies weak, while your skills go up.

-You may not even realize you're eligible for a level-up.

This can result in your gaining multiple level-ups without using them. When you're finally ready to level-up, you'll level up multiple times, which can defeat the first two purposes I've given.

On Xbox 360, there's a small window of opportunity for you to cancel out the level-up menu. However, not only does this not exist on PC, but even on Xbox, you don't get to adjust perks this way.

I'd like a mod where, every time you enter the skills menu with a level-up available, the level-up menu will give you a fourth option: "Do not level-up," much like the Oghma Infinium. If you select that option, it will cancel all other level ups you may be eligible for, until the next time you enter the skills menu.

That way, you can horde each and every level up until you're ready to use them, and you use them on YOUR terms!

Any takers?

My mod will help you with some of these. You can turn off experience gain from skill use until you use up your training sessions, or turn it off until you are ready to use your current level up.

That is... not even remotely close to what I'm looking for.

How about Automatic Perk

I tried to take a look at that mod, but it does not have any description as to what it does.

However, based on the title, it seems like a complete cheat. The current perk system works just fine. Just... the level-up system is the main problem.

Lofgren's mod would work perfectly in the short term. It's capable of being a cheat mod if miss-used, however if I skip a couple levels accidently and miss ten training slots, you can use this mod to get caught back up

Yes, I'm third here.

I've been looking for this, since mods for Skyrim started to appear. No perfect solution yet. For the training part, I'm using a way complicated 'workaround'. I pushed the max training per level-up to a high number like 500 (wrye bash). Level-up and count my available trainings, accourding to my level. There is a stat in the journal that shows the times I've done that. It is really frustrating that way, so please, anyone who capable of doing op's suggestion, I instant kudo\vote\endorse whatever. :)
