Tomlong54210
Are you sure the plugin was saved in TESCS? If so, you should be able to launch TESCS and open it. Make sure you do not have file extensions hidden. That makes dealing with modded Oblivion more troublesome.
bben46
Clarification needed: Is this an .esp you created?Or a mod you downloaded from the site?

Why is it not showing in the folder? It should have a name or are you saving the Oblivion.esm? Notice you gave us enough information to confound everyone and no information at all that actually informs something. it's believable you spelled wrong the softhouse's name at the installation (it should be Bethesda) and so it's not a problem, but still adds to the mess. Tomlong54210
Do you have file extensions hidden? Can you see the .esm extension on Oblivion.esm? Make sure you have the game patched to the latest version (if you are not already using the GOTY version.)

Believe it, Although you can workaround the issues disabling the UAC and running as the Administrator, my advice is you uninstalling the game and Installing elsewhere far away from that blessed folder (even something like the original C:\Betseda... would be better). Creating a folder named C:\Games and installing All and Every game there,is a good and clean idea... avoid that troublemaker C:\Program files as your worst nightmare when related to games, not only just Oblivion. PS: It's presumable you are saving at the whole path above and not in some 'created' c:\Oblivion\Data

EDIT:Im installing it in my second diskD:\Oblivion THANK YOU, all working perfectly now. The problem was the "Programe file" folder. For those who gonna have same problem as me, just install the Oblivion game in an other folder than Programe File. nosisab
Thank you i will try this right now. I'll tell you if it work for me. EDIT:Im installing it in my second diskD:\OblivionYou're welcome. That issue with the Program Files folder is somewhat difficult to understand because it relates with third part applications attempting to access something there. With third part I mean applications not under the main installation, what includes the TESCS itself (matters not it is from the same provider), OBMM, OBSE, actually any program that, someway, try and interacts with the game. That's the reason most programs will live happy there, but should be avoided for games. PS: Notice it's not enough the third part appl being under the same folder, Windows still will see it as something 'external' attempting to mess with the main application. And that applies only for 'protected' folders (like the /Program Files, the /Windows itself, the /Users (what includes the (My) Documents)... any other folder outside those will work without 'security' problems.
