Deleted31005User
When someone leaves a comment on your own mod page there is this line "block user from: this file | all my files | PMs" next to hes name, is this block only for comments or does it also block him from downloading your mod in the future? Also if its only to block comments, is there any feature on this website to actually block someone from downloading your mod?
BlackRampage
If you block a user from either a single file or all your files then they won't even be able to see the mod page, let alone download your mod. They'll just get some kind of error instead.
Joedpa
But why would you want someone to not download your mods?Hmm...
mechatech
But why would you want someone to not download your mods?Hmm... If that person was irritating, demanding or nasty but not enough to be banned, shutting them out is the next best thing.
Deleted31005User
And what about blocking someone that never even left a comment on your mod page, can that be accomplished somehow and is there some kind of list that you can view to see which persons have been blocked?Personally I never used that block button before, but since I'm sharing authorship on one of my mods I'd like to know whats possible and where I can overview these things. DrakeTheDragon
If you make yourself a huge bother to the author yet somehow manage to not already violate the ToS, he's got all right to make sure you can't bother him again anymore on one particular or any of his file pages at all for whatever timespan he sees fit. If you get especially nasty even, a PM block will take care you won't be able to use that feature to bother him further anymore either. And if you somehow managed to find yet another means to go on bothering him beyond the ways already blocked, you're violating the ToS and are likely to be banned for it. In order to block someone from accessing your file pages this particular someone needs to have left a comment on any one of your file pages already first though. There's yet no means available to "pre-emptively" block someone from all your file pages, for example because he's been an exceptional bother to other authors you know already and you simply don't want him to be able to use your mods or come to your page and cause the same trouble to you all over again ever to begin with. As for the lists of who's been blocked already, yes, there is.Just go to your File Sites "User Area" and search under "Files" for Manage blocked users. I'm not sure what you'll see on this page then or what options it gives you to actually 'manage' them, as mine is still 'empty' by now, but that's definitely the place where you can undo these blocks, and I'm rather convinced you'll also be able to somehow see or manage who's blocked from what and/or what file page(s) in there. And I'm not sure those you've given Editing Access to your page can also block people from it. But I could imagine they can. Somebody else may answer that one better.
