mrnexusmods27
I recently tried requiem and though it was one of the best overhauls I played, but I loved using quest mods in my playthrough and I'm not sure if requiem will work with them. I don't think there will be any problems, but I'm not sure how the difficulty, scaling and balance will be.
Valkasha
They will probably be a lot harder and some of them you won't be able to complete at low levels, just like vanilla quests in Requiem.
Veltoss
It depends on the mod, but like Valkasha said, they will probably be a lot harder, especially at first. Some may not be balanced at all depending on the mod/npc. Some quest mods have compatibility patches, if you check how they make them compatible it's not too difficult to duplicate with your own compatibility patch or modified esp. Mostly it's just perks that need changed, unless it uses custom armors/weapons that need balanced.
mrnexusmods27
Thanks guys I was really worried that they would be too easy because if they're too hard i can just wait until a later level. Hopefully I can find patches for them though.
calfurius
I gotta be honest with you, a lot of quest mods will be to EASY. Not to hard. In Requiem NPCs are difficult thanks to perks. In order to give NPCs from quest mods perks, you have to make a compatibility patch for them. Without this patch, then the enemies will be extremely easy. I know a number of mods by Thirteen Oranges that doesn't work well with Requiem because enemies that were supposed to be difficult die very easily. If I was you, I wouldn't download a quest mod unless it's stated to be compatible with Requiem (via patch).
lofgren
There is just no way to tell. If a mod uses vanilla leveled lists, it should adjust in difficulty with Requiem just fine. If it uses customized enemies, then it will not be effected by Requiem at all, except for gear changes. If it uses custom enemies and custom gear, the presence of Requiem won't even be noticed. In any event it is unlikely to be INcompatible, so you mght as well download it and give it a whirl. If the problem is that custom NPCs do not have the right perks, maybe ASIS could help? It's a patch program that gives NPCs from one mod perks from all of your other mods, if configured properly.
mrnexusmods27
I have asis so I would think that the perk problem would be fixed by that. I haven't seen any patches for quest mods with requiem, so if someone could give me some links for them that would be cool. Anyway, I think I am just going to install them because they can't hurt and I will have the opportunity to see what works with requiem and what doesn't.
