Anything To Do After You Finish The Mq?

There are plenty of things your character can do after he or she has completed the main quest, unless those things were done already. The game has tons of side quests. There is the Arena, the Fighters Guild, the Thiefs Guild, the Dark Brotherhood, and the Mages Guild. You can even receive quests from NPCs who are not part of any organization. Besides doing the side quests, your character can get wild...perhaps by attacking the innocent beggars with magic.

How about starting a book collection?

How about starting a stone collection?

How about investing in stores?

How about starting a clothes collection?

SPOILERAGE!!!!!

*warning you now*

*you were warned*

Do you think they'll make an expansion where you get to be the emporer or get to go kick that big red guys ass for good (they did say he was only temporarily defeated) or better yet get to be a god? C'mon! You reckon? I mean that idiot just stands there going "Well... looks like we don't have an emporer... mmmm ... akward... oh well nice going here's some armour that normally only emporers wear... oh well no more emporer eh? whatever shall we do oh yeh thanks BYE NOW dont let the door hit yo' ass on the way out."

EHHEWWAAHAAAT? Buh... buh... I ... they... I DID ALL THE WORK!

So that's why I think they won't take you in until you show up on their doorstep with whatshisnames head on a spike and a godly aura and saying "HEY ASSHOLES, BOW TO YOUR NEW OVERLORD!" XD

... ps - I am not evil in real life honest!!

First: Language!!! Do not swear so much please. Second: Language: Please correct your spelling: its not emporer but emperor. Do I have tospell it out for you? Third: Who asked in this thread to be a god or emperor or anything like that? Eh? All there has been asked is wht can we do after we finish the main quest. The answer is Anything we didn't do before it!!! You can go and kill monsters finish guid quests, do mini quests, go exploring, get daedric weapons, ANYTHING!!!! You can become a vampire(nice mod kiyoshi!) or go on killing spree! You name it! That's what the Elder Scrolls games are about (at least the latest membersof the family). Oblivion is like morrowind: FREEFORM!

KittenKiss, the idea when a thread is posted in General Oblivion and not Spoilers is not to post spoilers in it. ;)

Going to have to move this now.

I beat the main quest loooong ago and still am rediculosly interested.

I finished all of the Daedric quests.

I completed the mages guild quests

I'm about half way finished with the Dark Brotherhood quests which are VERY entertaining.

I'm also involved with "the collector" quest searching through all of Cyrodill's aleid ruins looking for the aleid statues.

I'm at level 42 now also. Everyone carries top of the line armor and weapons so cash is easy to come by. I've visited most of the master trainers and only have a hand full of skills that aren't at 100 or higher.

I've still yet to touch the fighters guild, thieves guild and haven't done hardly any of the misc quests in the towns and cities.

There's still a retarded amount of stuff left to do!!!

Oh and once you're arch mage of the mages guild, you can finally enchant any items or weapons you want and create any spells. After my destruction skill passed level 75, I made a spell that does the following...It's pretty much instant death. I'm planning on making another one that's similar that does a high radius of damage for those packed out crypts and ruins... sort of like the BFG attack in Quake 2 where it basically kills everything in the room! HHAHA PWNED!

Restore Magicka 100 pts for 5 secs on self? I guess you modded this in...

Roleplaying is a thing to do. And yes, the collector's quest and the quest linked to that are amazing. Downloading mods or make one yourself (If you can) is good too. I would've stopped playing Morrowind much earlier if it weren't for the mods.

Yeah I found a mod somewhere that adds a lot of the game's spells to your character. Most are useless or require thousands and thousands of magic pts to cast so most are useless to me but when creating spells, it gives me basically any effect I want to add provided that my various magic skills are high enough. I started with the mod before I finsihed the mages quest so I don't know which of those spell attributes would have been available before the mod or what.

That spell in particular required destruction to be at level 100. My night vision spell above it detects life for 100 ft (or whatever the max is and lasts 120 seconds along with night eye for the same amount of time.

I've got another one also that boosts my speed and athletics for quick bursts of speed in traveling.

All my armor is enchanted too. I think completing the mage's quest has had the most satisfying rewards with the spell making and item/armor/weapon enchanting. Stocking up on grand soul gems with grand level souls is great. The daedric gauntlets I've got add 10 pts to my blade skill, the daedric boots add 10 pts to my speed, daedric greaves add 10 pts to athletics, the curiass adds 10 pts to destruciton magic too.

I FINALLY got a couple of daedric longswords that I'm trying to decide what to do with them but I still doubt they'll be more powerful than the Goldbrand sword. That sword just flat out owns.

I unfortunately gave Martin Azura's star not knowing what I'd be able to do with it at this point in the game so I wish I had a console command to give it back to me. I think that would make a killer enchanted longsword...mabey make it a black gem.
