Mattiewagg
I know there are a lot of threads like this, but I just got a new computer and I think it's pretty good, but how is it? I know it can run an ENB, but could it run an ENB + 2k Textures (I'm cool with Lite) + RLO? 12 GB RAM1 TB HDD (7200 rpm) + 112 GB SSD - Steam/Skyrim is on the Solid State DriveNVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M (4 GB VRAM)Intel Core i7 4710HQ @ 2.50 GHz I've got a customized version of this. So how is the system? I'd need to play at 30 FPS+
mrpdean
I would think that would be more than enough vram to use 2k textures. If I were you I'd just give it a try and see how it goes. Texture packs a easy and safe to add/remove as they don't affect your saved games.

Memory Interface Width=128-bit / Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec)=80.0...that GPU isn't really good enough. The 4GB VRAM will give you nothing compared to the 2GB version. Before it could use the extra 2GB your card will be at it's end of capability. Edited August 21, 2014 by Novem99

And I'm cool with 1k textures too. I never notice a huge amount of difference, though I'm sure there is one. Thank you.
