pmnavatar
Can anyone make Excalibur? I'm still learning how to make mods, so I still don't know how to "craft" swords :P As for the sword's enchantments, it was said that the sword could cut steel (it's in wikipedia.org) so a vorpal ability would come handy, and the scabbard prevented Arthur from bleeding, so in Oblivion terms, the sword could have a protection from normal weapons 100%. I add here pictures of the details of the sword.
SoulBlazer_87
Protection from weapons 100%!?!?!?!?!?!? Are you out of your mind?!?!?!? It should protect him from OVERBLEEDING that is dying out of blood loss but what if someone cut his head? Or ran him through? Eh? What would protect him from that? I would accept a 25% protection but that's it. Other than that it would be a great mod.

Can anyone do this mod?

Rhydderch Hael
Well, for one thing, Excalibur was derived from Caladbolg, which could be interpreted as "Hard Lightning". On that grace, it should be offering some Shock Damage.

I recently instaled the "visually enchanted weapons 2.1" mod, that by the way is GREAT (DarkTyrian rulez!!!), and the sword would look awesome with lightning effects :P Can anyone PLEASE make this mod??? Plus, if anyone has more ideas or something to add, feel free to write them here, the more the ideas the better!
SoulBlazer_87
I'd really like to see a small quest aliied to it rather than jus find it lying on the ground!!! It would make more sense right?
pmnavatar
To tell the truth, I thought about a Quest for Excalibur when I posted this topic, finding the sword in the stone that you could draw when you completed a quest, or the likes, but honestly, I didn't mention the fact because I thought it would be too much to ask for, since I'm already asking any good samaritan to make a difficult (I think, as I really don't have a clue how to make textures) mod! BUT, if any "modder" is reading this, please take note, it would be very cool to have a Quest for Excalibur!!!
Rhydderch Hael
Well, Excalibur wasn't the Sword in the Stone. When he broke the Sword in the Stone, Arthur attained Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake as a replacement.
pmnavatar
Come on, people, it's just a sword, I'm not asking for a complete set of armour, or a new dungeon or castle!
