minlillaponny
Well, it's been i while since i played New Vegas and i looking forward to it :)I only has one problem though. I use Nexus Mod Manager to uncheck all the DLC's that i want to save to play later which is LonesomeRoad, DeadMoney and OldWorldBlues.Even if i've unchecked them in Nexus Mod Manager, as soon as i step out of the Doc's house, both LonesomeRoad and OldWorldBlues are loaded "i get that new quest popping out" So how do i manage that? micalov
Its a "feature" obsidian decided to add with NV, inside your data folder you will find files called LONESOMEROAD.NAM etc for each DLC, these will force the game to load the ESP/ESM named after then regardless of whether r not they are checked, so just delete the NAM files. chucksteel
open your Fallout New Vegas/Data folder Sort window by file type. in the list you'll see a .nam file for all DLC, If you have GRA and the stash packs there will be .nam's for them too. Delete these files they are not needed on PC and there only purpose is to force load the DLC on PS or Xbox. Unfortunately they also Force load it on PC. Delete them and your all good. minlillaponny
Thanks guys.So just to be clear. If i delete the .NAM files, then i'm able to choose which DLC's i want to play with Nexus Mod Manager. And i never have to restore those files? chucksteel
yes your correct but if you ever have to verify the integrity of your game with steam they will come back and have to be removed again.
