Mass effect 1 and 2 are definatly the top titles for rpgs right now. The cinematic approach to conversation is amazing! As for everything else it is very well done. I think that Bioware is a master of making games that appeal to anyone.

For me, the best was Mass Effect (1 or 2, does not matter).

The 360 is attached to my big screen TV in the family room, hence, anything I play on the 360 needs to be OK for view with kids running around the room (or I am forced to play after everyone is asleep).

The major benefit to Mass Effect in regards to my kids is that it is cartoony enough for them to sit still and watch it but boring enough for them to fall asleep which is why I always started to play it around the kids bedtime. Although, with #2, I had to make sure certain "characters" were not onscreen when the littles were watching...and you know who I'm talkin' bout.

With that in mind, Fallout 3 and Bioshock 1/2 will never be purchased for my 360.

I played Dragon Age on a family member's PC a couple of times but was not interested in it enough to purchase it.

I already bought Oblivion for the PC and it would be silly of me to get a 360 version.

I have no interest in Final Fantasy and don't know anything about the Last Remnant or Star Ocean.

EDIT: Yes, the ME games' replay value is quite high. I rarely go through a game from start to finish and I did this one several times over.

I know what ya mean about the DA and Bioshock... they are abit gory. But they are also really good games I have most of the games there Last Rem and SO, But I have played Last Remnant... and also played som of the earlier star oceans but not last hope....

Replay value though for the ME's? any good? went through ME 1 then started right on 2...

I would definatly say that the replay value for both MEs is alot! There are lots of different things to do especially in the second one. And the game will kind of shift in a certain direction based on your choices which is why it is so appealing.

Just for the bump, but I must be missing out on this game, Mass Effect 2 got some love, I've played the first one, have the second but haven't played it yet. But here's a good question I hope someone can answer for me... Is it better for the PC or the 360?
