From Day Dreams of a Spaced Out old Man comes

We got ten hits about haunted, two hundred conspiracy theories, one that is the root of cover up about training students to be military career members, eight schools deep in the bowels of the new cities stripped clean of valuables, one school that was condemned and is too dangerous to venture in. Warning posters about air quality keeps it vacant. I ran instances of latest activities on any I could find access.

The vast majority of them are boarded up, only scavengers and squatters. The deadliest of the bunch has had three incidences in a twenty year span. All of the scavengers that went in never came out. Search teams were stopped for the lack of equipment with filters to keep their breathing apparatuses clean, air tanks ran out before they could get far. No health teams or retrievers had good enough equipment to make it in to find the bodies before they had to get out.

Unable to go in and retrieve the bodies. Then there's one in Oregonia. Beats all with it's toxicity. The mayor of 1994 went in with the politicians planning an excavation. Broke a wall opening a hole. All died three days later.

The only activity there; was on top. A drunk reported that he saw an old man come out of nowhere. Big s'nose, face wrinkles like a prune. Must be an alien from some other planet. The overcoat was shiny like rainbow.

Where?!

Shredian, Orgonia.

That's where one of my greats, a grandfather, was the Principal. Three hundred years ago. I'm betting she'll be going there. If she isn't already. Send Dwealler and a team to scan the school for traces of life.

But, but it will be a day before they can get there.

NOW! Right now! I thinks it's time we try that new buz traveling thingy the professor built. Do it!

If you just opened up the page and want to understand what's going on start reading back a few pages Here. Until you get to here. If you know what's what read on.

------------ Today Thursday; February 25, 2021 I continued the story. The Infimary; with:

Two patrolman stopped near where I dropped you. I monitored them. They were talking and at first I thought they were talking to each other. One of them kneeled and held out his hand. A ten by twelve piece of paper, cardboard or thick paper, appeared. No visible sight of it was there before he picked it up. It's a Cafeteria sheet for the week of... I'm sending you the scan of it. Amanada.
Cafeteria, Will Work for Food, get Head Hub's red key card; meet in the cafe. Don't go near Rm 222 until we get it to think I'm him. MEET Me in the Cooks room. Come in via the caterer's delivery door when you have it.
Amanda! There's old handwriting from a student that matches some of the words. A drifter used it. The meeting in the cooks room is new. The students I determined was originally from a student who lived back during 2925. I located the blueprint and map of the school. Pix from when it was opened during August 10, 1940. There's a computer, scanner, and a camera in the cooks quarters. Stay safe. On further analysis, the computer, scanner, and camera weren't invented until 2009. For security keycards.
Thx Clark.
I got a blip. There's some movement where the patrolman were, but nothing visible. Slight heat signature no bigger then baby's fist. Wait! There some emissions. A small stream on the pavement of the sidewalk. It like a pipe venting frost in its wake. I'm sending you an adjustment to your wristband.
Compute passage:
Head Hub, head hub. Of course! The principal's office.
Scan:
All frequencies and light arrays. New scan settings. Frosty?! Clark!
I liked the sound of it; don't you.
Set scan to accept frosty. Nice Clark. Sometimes I think I made the man of my dreams when I built you.
Ooo! I feel alive. XD
I'm at the top floor. There's no life here. Security beams. There's no way through. Think. Think. Think!
Cafeteria, location.
Fourth floor. Ventilation?
What?!
The switch to turn off the Security beams is on this side of them. I think they were set up to keep someone from getting out unnoticed. But why?
Scan shows me that the security beams are kept active by a miniature power supply. That kind of PSU requires recharging. There's message over the switch. Blue Keycard Required. There's a space for a security guard. It's all busted uip and it's not showing on the Bp, map, building pixs, only on my scan. Clark?
I'm scanning. I am!
Rags on the floor twelve paces behind you. Garbage bin, shredder style, do not stick your hand in that things mouth. Twist off the top first.
It's the guards shirt. Found the blue card, sifting through waste can. Ah! A red keycard.
I'm headed for the caterers entrance to the cooks room. Is it clear?
Don't you think you should check the principal's office?
Clark I think he may still be in there. And I need to follow the instructions from the pix first. If there's a reason I will afterward.
Amanda! Scanner! You've got company!
Follow me!
I can't see you!
Use your watch then and follow my cold farts! Ha ha ha! I always wanted to say that. Now follow me!
Who are you?!
You'll see soon enough. Some people are on their way here. I think you've met one of them already. I would have gathered up my toy guns bullets before I left the scene if I were you.
Where are we going?
The caterer's entrance! If you must talk do it while we run!
I figured out the red key card needs to be cracked. The caterer's door is the only way around getting too close to Rm 222. Are you the woman from that old picture I received?
I needed the red card. That red card was the only thing missing and you found it. That rascal must have known the principal was coming, removed the cap on that shredder to hide it so it wouldn't get all chewed up. I didn't think he was that smart. Forgive me I know you're in a bit of shock and are mentally flagging a bit. We'll be able to have an Espresso' after we get done when we are safe. Keep moving!
Forgive me! Sir. If you are the school boy I am thinking you are, you are old. Phfft! You're a thousand years old or something?
Chronologically speaking, yeah. Physically? Wait until we get to the cooks computer.

The man with the big nose has dropped off the radar. Our team is positioned outside.

Have you found any family ties that might be helping her?

No, Sir.

The vids of the police. Anything?

No.

The detective? Amanda.

No, sir.

I don't like it. My families past history may be in jeopardy. Or... The past! If she's at the school she's likely dead now from all the noxious gas or even radiation poisoning. They were dabbling in atomic energy back in those days. And cold fusion was... Cold fusion? Get the team on the horn and tell them to; get the hell out of there!

Right away sir! Dwealler! Return to base!

Dwealler, here. Sir! We've got a signal. It's faint, but it is coming from inside the cafeteria.

Get out of there NOW! That's an ORDER!

Fuuwummp!

What a strange noise! What now, sir?

If that wasn't the sound that new travel thingy makes; they're gone!

What?!

They're gone! The whole place was just sucked into a vacuum. Anything, anyone! Inside or out was too. The building will appear again. But there won't be anything, any living thing left inside.

Dwealler here. Sir! I saw the whole building disappear.

Where are you?!

In the lab, Sir.

Get back into that travel thingy and go back to the school.

But sir?! It's gone!

You've got a window in that thingy. Stay inside the thingy. Just DO IT!

At the door in the hall to the cafeteria Amanda about had, had it with the invisible man. Keeping up with the frost trail proved difficult. She reached out to grab the shrouded man. He tapped her on the shoulder. As she turned toward him the cloak faded. He pointed at the door. Through here.

Dodging through the rubble they stopped at the cook's private quarters door.

He stopped. Pulled out a lanyard string with a green key card. The doors lock groaned than popped.

Wait! There's another security trigger. He rolled a bright white ball across the floor into the room. Cirrie?! What? Who are your friends?

He waved to Amanda to follow into the room.

Ah! Mr. Halbrok!

Hi! Allie! Can I have a word with Cirrie? In private!

You know the rules!

Just one quick question Allie. He looked at the ball counting down the battery bar by bar. The hologram image of Cirrie would fade soon.

No debates, no hostile act, and no shouting. Understood?

Yes! Allie. As soon as Allie's eye closed he moved to the computer. Go stand by that ball on a stick! Hurry!

Amanda turned toward it. She stopped because Cirrie was in her way.

It's a holograph! Move! I need a minute to get the computer up. As to why I hired you. One of the students children took a leave of absence and married your ancestor. The woman you saw in the picture I sent you. Your retina should be close enough to fool the eye scanner. Back then eye scanners weren't as good as they are today. I hope to fool it to make the key card work for you. I'll just feed the information in. Now look at the ball on the pole. It's an old version of an eye scanner. Today a kindergartner could hack into one of these. Now hold your left hand over your left eye and look at the tiny dot in the center of the lens with your right eye. Take a breath and hold still! There!

What are we doing here?

Well. The next room is where we improved on many of the ancient methods for medicine using atomic energy. Laser operations which didn't cut the flesh because we learned to atomize the exterior so we could do the surgery without invasive cutting.

Amanda made eye contact with him.

It's called cryogenic atomizing. It freezes all the cells of our body instantly. Only the body doesn't act a block of ice. The body is held in suspension in body container. Kept in suspended animation by a cooling device using cold fusion. The cells, everything, are easily separated without melting or cutting. The body is more like jello before it solidifies. Then we can spread the frozen cells of the body of a human creating a tunnel and work on the bodies small parts. It's simply holding the body in suspended animation so we could move a hair like probe, followed by other tools like a clamp, next, into the area of the damaged internal part. For example; say, a cancerous growth were affecting an organ. Then with the tunnel to the area we pull out or disassemble the item we are after. We fix the problem. No cutting, no stitching, and no left over cancer cells. All the fragments causing the problem are removed. Even a bullet could be pulled out and the tissue reset so even the smallest of the capillaries were restored. Closure follows as the cryonic atomizer holding the persons body in cold fusion takes a few seconds, then switches off. All matter in the holding pod returns to normal. During the shut down the body is restored to solid as it was before. In that few seconds the body, like jello effect, coalesces. Heals. No scars.

If we get into the room I can remove that nasty bullet in your back that will eventually ruin your back.

The computer fan whirred.

Ah! It worked. Too good to be true.

Oh my! I hope that isn't the case.

Follow me! Amanda. Stop. Look there at that spot.

That big black spot?

Yup! Hold the card up to your chin. Now look at the spot.

Yes! Go sit down on the chair next to the large tube!

There?!

Yes!

Close your eyes! Take a deep breath and count to ten!

Amanda squealed. What was that?!

The man held up his right hand palm up. Here! You can add it to your add it to your shelf of memorabilia.

What?! How long did that take?

You were out for about ten minutes. Now. Thank you so much for your assistance. But! You'll need to leave the building while I make a few adjustments.

Why can't I stay and watch?!

Meet me at this address. We'll have coffee and I will let someone you know explain it to you better than I can. She knows more about it, because it is her department.

-----------------------------------------------------

Dwealler here! Sir. There's been a change. The building is there. I don't know what to say.

What is it! Spit it out! Dwealler.

There... There are people inside. They're even outside of the building. Roaming around.

Bring it up on vid Dwealler!

Right away, sir.

They're back. They are all back.

What's the matter sir?

That's my ancestor. That man there. He is my ancestor and the principal of the school. They are dead! They were, all of them, the entire staff just disappeared.

---------------------------------------------------

Clark carried Amanda off to the address she gave Clark. Upon arrival she saw a sign over a restaurant's doors. She felt it was kind of strange that she had never seen it before.

She walked up to the door. A young man opened it.

Hello! You must be Amanda! I have been expecting you. Come in! Follow me, please!

She walked along looking at the interior style decorations. These decorations? They're from the 1950's.

Yes! He looked her in the eyes. We've owned and operated the restaurant since 1951. It looks new doesn't it? We like to keep it that way.

Oh! It really does. My last name is the same as your restaurant's.

Ah! Here we are. Your party awaits you. Enjoy!

What?!

A woman about in her late twenties gestured to her. Come! Sit down.

Amanda slid into the bench around the round table. The man to her right turned to face her. She felt uncomfortable because his was beaming.

The woman looked at her. A warm smile on her face. You already met Richie. Pointing to where he sat back in the back, on the curved bench, nearer to herself.

Amanda looked at the person who she left at the school before running back to her Clark. Hi! Richie?!

Yes, that's me! I would like to introduce you to the fine woman who just spoke to you. The marvelous gal, I called Mom for many years. Of course I grew up while she was away.

Your Richie's Mother?! How?

Yes. I know! I don't look like I could be his mother. It is such a pleasure to meet you. Richie tells me all of us at the school, including the staff have you to thank. You see we were trapped in the space suspended in time. Literally frozen, like you were when Richie extracted a bullet from your body. Only we were experimenting when the cold fusion chamber sprung a leak. Caught us by surprise and Richie tells me we were that we were in suspended animation for a long time.

Why do I feel like I should know you?

Well, to put it simply, it is my pleasure to meet my greatest of great granddaughters, and that being you, I thank you for sparing us an eternity in suspended animation. We may now continue our lives. What is the date today Richie? Oh! Never mind. As to the one thing that probably entered your mind on your way up to the restaurant. This is our family restaurant. Thanks to you and Richie we all just returned from 1951.

Richie waved at Amanda. It was built about a year and half before the staff became unstable jelly.

Marty looked at Richie. A year and a half. It's 1953. But you're full grown and balding a little.

Mom! Today is October 31, 3024.

Everyone of the staff, including his mom's, jaws went slack. Amanda was unsettled by the news also.

That means we've all been missing for 1071 years! YEARS?!

Amanda felt a tug on her hand. She bent over to look down at what was pulling on it. A little boy looked up at her. Leaning down to lift him to her she felt a sharp pain in her back. She closed her eyes winching from the sting.

She felt something lick her hand, than her face.

Opening her eyes she saw a silver gray french poodle panting awaiting her attention. Clark. Stop it! Clark?

(The End)

Now you've reawakened my memory about what scientists discovered. Another barrier protecting us from objects entering Earth's atmosphere. Another possible shield to create so it can be a force field around the hull of our space stations, shuttles, and future Star Ships. Giving all vehicles layers of protection on space ships so we could travel safely out beyond Earth's protective Ionosphere, Stratosphere, Van Allen Belt, and go Beyond Earth's Moon.

The effect they reported it having is likened to a pebble falling into water slowing it as it descends through the shifting water levels. Thus, it is slowed until it is effectively slowed so much it is causing the pebble to lose it's high speed so much it falls into the atmo without causing any harm.

And yet another shield was discovered protecting Earth from objects traveling around Earth protecting Earth from outer space stuff.

Hm? Then there is this report I found while searching for the one I remembered reading. 7200 miles above Earth https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/11/141126133829.htm#:~:text=A%20team%20led%20by%20the,systems%20during%20intense%20solar%20storms.

Who will be the Winners of the Morrowind Mod Marathon?

Wow! What a lucky bunch of Morrowind modders! If I wasn't finding mods made by the modders for Morrowind that suit my idea for improving the games variety of them I would probably be complaining; and then set back, grumble under my breath :pinch: , open Morrowind's Construction Set, that I got with the original GoTY on the CD :woot:, and start creating another mod.

The talent around Nexusmods.com now, with their ability to make mods quickly, and my patience being like it is, makes it so I don't even have long to complain before someone uploads a mod so close to the way I am thinking about modding I just download theirs.

I am going to be watching the Morrowind Mod page. Especially now a days!

Who will be the Winners of the Morrowind Mod Marathon?

I just saw the latest mods. Some of the possible candidates are not adding the Morrowind May Mod Marathon in their mod description area so they will be recognized as a contestant.

Ooo! If something challenged my creative thinking my creative thinking cap propeller probably would pull me right up out of my chair and I would be sailing away to parts unknown.
