Quick HELP PLEASE

Can someone please tell me the texture file names for the textures that control the lightening effects given off by lightning weapons? I would really like to remove or alter this effect but cannot seem to find the files. Please Help.

I'm thinking you're gonna have to do some texture dumping yourself to get that answer, it's very tedious work to sort through potentially 1000's of textures just to find those textures so i doubt someone is going to do it for you. Why can't you do it yourself btw?

Same here. Turn that off, you don't need it anyway. There's a simple way to dump specific textures too. The snag is whether the lightning textures would dump on-command.

 

The long way is to have a lightning miracle equipped before you start your game, start your game and let all the textures to the area dump and then sift through many hundred textures. It should dump every texture your character will immediately need. Armor, weapons, spells etc. There will be hundreds of images to go through, though, and it is not advisable to do it this way.

 

The short and easy way is to start your game all the way, have your lightning equipped but don't use it yet. Alt-Tab out of the game (windowed mode is much easier btw) and go empty your dump folder completely. This will get rid of everything useless. After you empty it go back into the game and immediately use the lightning. If they dump on-command the textures will be in your dump folder immediately after you use the spell.

 

If the short and easy way doesn't work then you're gonna have to wade through a lot of textures.... not fun. That's why i said people wouldn't do it for you probably. Especially if they don't think to do it the way i told you.
