pcmodhouse
I'm getting bored of Oblivion and I'm making the transition to Fallout 3. I ordered the Game of the Year edition and I'm still waitint for it to arrive by mail. Before it comes and I install it, what should I also install? Are there essential start off mods or fixes that need to be installed with it? Does it involve just unzipping to a directory like Oblivion? Fonger
1 - install the second disk - to get the full 1.7 patch 2 - like oblivion, Bethesda ignores many bugs - you know the drill - unofficial patch 3 - FOSE - OBSE for Fallout 4 - FOMM - OBMM for Fallout - some differences 5 - Consider BOSS - Yeppers, same name for Fallout 6 - Marts Mutant Mod - MMM for Fallout - just like Oblivion, avoid older variants - get atleast 5.7 7 - there's a quest mod "A Note Easily Missed" - you'll love it, then get every other quest mod by the same author 8 - everything else amounts to personal taste. Nihilisaurus
Auto Aim fix v1.1! That stupid thing was a game killer, it would target your head shots into walls to try and hit the torso, the bullets rise over long distances (making long-range sniping impossible) and quite a few other flaws. Then I discovered this mod and all was forgiven between me and the Auto-aim, now it guides my shots towards the crosshair (yeah... guns don't line up with it. Freaking weird).
