thestormdragon
Celts - I loved the extra range advantage of the long bows and byzantines for the fortified walls in AOE II. I also agree AOE I and II where very educational too. Never got into AOE III. Age of Mythology and its expansion Titans (mythology based AOE spin off) also very good. Empire Earth I and II as well (you can play through all of history to the distant future). Also good fun and educational games: Pharoh and Cleopatra expansion, Caesar III and IV, and Zeus (Posidon expansion) These are more builder games but do have some army control too. They cover ancient Egypt, Rome, and Greece/Atlantis. Sorry about the bad spelling.
Forko111
Never ignore what this one apparently insignificant villager can do. Very useful if you are vessel successful or want to include beginning gardening into your technique. So what does that one additional villager net you? Thor.
i still think rise of nations is one of the best rts's ever made. It still stands out even today.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL3EKOAOlfgIts probably the most complete rts, compared to age of empires, do to the fact it goes through all of the ages Edited February 27, 2013 by Thor.
