Twist what story? If you take the bribe you are allowing Shianni and the other women to stay for more "fun" That's part of the bribe. These same men that raped Shianni and the guards that say the sicking "she's still warm..what more do you need?" about one of the other girls. and the fact you take the bribe over the body of your bleeding and raped cousin. No, I don't see why she'd be mad about that at all.

Vaughan is a scumbag and I couldn't take money from him. Honestly, I'd pay to kill him. When I first played as an elven Mage and encountered him in the prison and he spewed that crap about knife ears, I killed him. Greatest cut scene ever. :)

All jokes aside, I didn't like Shianni at all. I've only made 1 elf in my game and that was just to see the city elf origin, and seeing her crying on the floor felt pretty good after she was mean to my human noble.

40 sovereigns is like nothing lol.Like he could pay me off after what he did, maybe also because I am a girl that I find the City Elf story quite scary, I don't know if everyone else thought that story was as scary.

I am guy and I was horrified by the City Elf origin. I made a point to kill Vaughan on every play through. I've never taken such satisfaction over the death of fictional character. Vaughan was complete and absolute scum. I emphasize the was because that male without a father isn't drawing breath in any of my completed DA play throughs.

No! But apparently it's possible to take the cash, place it in a chest, and retrieve it when you return there later in the game.
