Making Reload Animations Work

I apologise if there is already a thread on this.

So I've been making some shoddy patchwork weapons in the blender and releasing them on the nexus. I have no idea how to make a reload animation work with a model. So far I've been fine with stock animations, but I have this mod Pistol-Grip Combat Shotgun Set and so far the pistol version has an improvised (at best) reload animation. And I have no idea what program I would need to get it to use the smg reload animation. Or how to go about doing that.

the only thing you need to get them to play is nifskope. by appropriately renaming any animated nitristrip node in the comnat shotgun nif, to match node names in the smg nif. blocks that will come under the controll by the player animations start with a prefix of ##. that and by using the correct animation set for the weapon, ie the ones for the smg, the gun will animate.

though to get them to play correctly, you pretty much need a 3d program to align pivots and rotations of objects. which will need to be fiddled with. or else after a anim plays, for example reload, any animated objects will probably be misaligned.
