jacksin125
I am having below 30 fps on a computer that before this could get up to 60 fps.Whenever stuff is actually changing (me moving, me looking around, another person walking in front of me), my fps drops. This started shortly after I installed a few new mods, and even reinstalling my game diddn't fix it. My specs are:Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz16 GB RAM64-bit operating system & processer4GB VRAM (NVIDIA GeForce GT 640)Windows 8 Even after deleting everything and downloading it again, the game still does this. Update: My mouse is also jumpy some of the time (More than it should be, even with the lower frames) Edited August 31, 2014 by jacksin125

Novem99
Sure that Skyrim detected and uses your graphics card and not the on board graphics of the CPU? Check the launcher please.

jacksin125
And what GPU? PSU Wattage?I'm pretty sure the gpu is NVIDIA GeForce GT 640. I may be thinking of the wrong thing though. I'm not sure about how much PSU Wattage I have. I'm also not sure why this matters when I already told you my computer can run Skyrim normally, and only recently has been having problems. If you have the time, could you tell me?
Valkasha
The GT 640 is a very weak card, not sure why you combined that with such a strong CPU. Obviously you need to upgrade the GPU if you want 60 frames with decent graphics.
