I am having this problem, but I'm using the latest version of MMM, plus the Unofficial Patches. I'm pretty sure I know what creature has caused it - the Sanctified Dead. I've tried all sorts of things to fix it, including the little mod linked in the first post, but none have helped. I've even tried some pretty obscure tips that came up when I ran a search - still no joy. I can go back to a previous save, but I don't really want to if I can help it.
