Courier07
Hello. Currently I'm planning to make an ultra stimpak model for NV. This is what I'm planning for the mesh to look like. However, I have a problem when it comes to using Blender. I can't seem to edit the mesh. I want to create tubes connecting from the stimpack into the belt but the grab tool is not letting me do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
iRonnie16
Right click the item and press TAB? I mean, sorry if you know this, but you're picture doesn't entail it.
Courier07
Alright, I managed to get Blender to edit the model. Here's what I got so far. `http://www.ezimba.com/work/140905C/ezimba19613346341000.png http://www.ezimba.com/work/140905C/ezimba19613330817200.png http://www.ezimba.com/work/140905C/ezimba19613311249600.png Stats I'm planning to do for it:-Heal 108 HP at the start, increases with your Medicine Skill to a max of 270 HP-Has a Ultra Stimpak debuff effect, it's similar to the Super Stim debuff but lasts longer, along with decreased Endurance and Radiation Resistance-Can be crafted with 100 Science using 1 Stimpak, 1 Super Stimpak, Surgical Tubing and 1 Banana Yucca Fruit(the fruit's in there because making a super stimpack requires a mutfruit, so I decided to do something similar) What do you guys think so far? jet4571
I don't get the logic of 2 large tubes coming off the sides of a syringe. Wouldn't it be better to clone the whole syringe and pump apparatus and rotate it to match the armband then have a couple tubes connecting the 2 pumps? Courier07
About the model. I was planning to have another stimpack right behind it that would have the tubes as well. Reason why I chose tubes was because the original render in Tactics had a bunch of tubes on it. I wanted to try something similar as well and it kind of fit with the materials you would need to make it. I can't exactly do a 100% accurate model of the Tactics version due to the game engine and how the item would be static, but then again the Super Stimpack to me doesn't look like an exact replica of the ones in the older games. So I decided to make something that would be somewhat familiar to the original version.
Courier07
Decidede to fix up the model so the tubes make more sense. http://www.ezimba.com/work/140906C/ezimba11832353951400.png This alright?
jet4571
Augh ok making it look more similar to another games version of the stimpak explains the new tubes. By all means carry on with the tubes.

Does anyone know how to texture in Blender by the way? Haven't done it before. Edited September 7, 2014 by Courier07
