Is it cool to be a vampire??

Depends. It is mostly ennoying, since you do not regenerate health, and cant be outside at daytime. You sleep alot. If you dont use your vampire skills. And the quests are hard to find and get. In short its fun for a while... but in the long run: NO. Atleast not IMO.

I agree with Ghorgareth. It's fun at first, the attribute boost turns your character in to a killing machine, but after awhile the negative aspects start to get really annoying.

i say its not cool its waaay better to wonder... if u are a vampire people wont talk to you and u can only go outside in night time....u cant do any quest on guild beacause people dont want to talk to you... and when u get bored bieng a vampire its not that easy to go back to normal... ;)

Vampires CANNOT fast travel

Vampires CANNOT go outside during the daytime

Vampires DO NOT regenerate health or magicka

Vampires are hated by most people

 

Think over these facts as they are the most important factors of being a vampire if you want to play a vampire SAVE FIRST on another file DO NOT OVERWRITE IT keep it because you will probably get anoyed with being a vampire after some time. It can be cured but i'm not going to tell you how.

 

Give me a mod that fixes the problem with people hating you and i'll probably play only vampire characters. Problem is all the mods i've found change something else (small wonder why i havent used em then huh?)

If figure being a vampire would be nice once you've pretty much done everything you want to with a character, as a denumont of sorts.

 

Sure it's fun to be pumped to the max, but in this case the cons severely outweigh the pros, so I doubt I'll be making any Vampire characters anytime soon, though my first one did become one. But for the lonely assassin who rampages through Balmora at night, slaying the entire town population is sure makes for some knee slapping good times.

Being a vampire does get annoying after a while, but there are some benefits:

You get a lot of good items

You see another side of Morrowind

Being a Vampire is the only way to get Eltonbrand *grumble grumble*

 

But all of those things start to lose their.... charm, for lack of a better word.

is there a cheat or something to get it, or like a cure if your already transformed, like so i could do the vamp quests then change back or is that just a silly thought. keep me informed.

Look for the Vampire's Embrace plugin, it allows you to talk to and interact with everyone, as long as you have a decent personality, what the NPC does is now based on their reaction to you, however, there are still SOME NPC's that attack you, due mostly to the fact they're suposed to for a roleplaying reason, EI you could still be attacked by Ordinators smart enough to know what you are, or like wise for other members of the Temple...
