RonnBurgendy
Latley PYFFI'd my entire meshes folder, luckily i have my back up non pyffi meshes, and my back up pyffi'd meshes. I havent unpacked bsa's and PYFFI'd then repacked yet. When starting a game the first thing i noticed on my save is a big exclamation ( witch is the only one ive seen so far ) next to my charecter. Also the whites of some peoples eyes were missing, and the helmets and hair on gaurds were missing. So i copied my creatures and charecter back uops over the PYFFI'd meshes and eye whites and helmets came back, theres still 1 exclamation point ive seen. What meshes arent PYFFI friendly, and is their a easier way to do it then picking out ever one one by one. I also run a whole lot of mods, FCOM, every good quest mod, the works. If some one can tell me what files i cant PYFFI so i can replace them that would be great, other then that PYFFI is great my FPS went up by tons. Other non related probloms - - - - - - - - - - I had to uninstall Better cities because it wrecked my FPS at night, but ran fine during the day, id like to use it but i cant even move in cities at night.- I use streamline and Stutter Remover but get a anoying stutter every 4 seconds no matter where i am or what my FPS is, i had a FPS of 40 in a inn and still got the stutter. Ghogiel
potential problem meshes: just about anything that has alpha transparency- hair for example. stripifying will often cause defects. do your own tests.. seen herehttp://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c85/lego-botz/other/alphastrippifiederror.jpg anything rigged - stripifying may not be ideal for them. sure the file size is smaller, but do strips draw faster than shapes on screen with skin weights and skeletal animation? maybe not. though for the most part the meshes will probably work normally if pyffi'd. also especially anything fallout3, i have known several outfits to break if pyffi'd. anything that has a tri/egm. ie anything attached to the face/head- helmet, hair, eyes, ears, mouth etc. pyffi might cause invalidation of those files, which will result in various glitches. RonnBurgendy
So anything without creatures/charecters/armors should work fine? ( oblivion only )
