Deleted54170User
Fictionalizing a true story is to save the innocent from too much humiliation or from getting bruised by older brothers or sisters. One day I started my first business. I was selling Kool Aid on the street for 10 cents a cup. Some neighbor kids who claimed they were my friend came by and said, "Hey! Give us a cup and we will pay you on Tuesday." It being that it was Saturday I stared them in the eyes. When they stared back as a group I began to feel insecure. I feared for my life since Mom was not nearby. Staring wide eyed I swallowed hard and shut my eyes for a second to help clear my fright at what my friends from Kindergarten might do. Then I bent forward over my table and pointed at a sign. It stated: "I know we are friends. I assure you that I would like to share my wares with my friends for free. But I must ask for some money from you. For I took a survey and found out if my friends don't pay, I will not make any money, as, I found out, none of my enemies will do business with me." Fiction, but a good think! Don't you see?! Fact! I really did sell Kool Aid one day. I learned who my friends were that day. I learned that to get the things i needed for daily life, I needed, more, of the Liberty Statue, Eisenhower, Indian head, and Lincoln coins then I made selling Kool Aid. Retribution
Some stray cat was just messing with my kitty and her kittens this morning. They were fighting, so I had to shoot it.
antonkr
This is actually a real story, but it sounds pretty fake.A Russian general (that I know) wanted to get his friend a present for his birthday. HE didn't want to get him something stupid and boring so he got him a landmine.(with all explosives out of it of course). He had to travel by train. Soon two police officers stopped him and asked what are you carying?. He calmly responded a landmine. They didn't belive him and laughed. He then took it out of his bag and showed it to them. They were gone in seconds.
Deleted54170User
Fiction is based on fact, fiction fills in what we don't know, what we suspect could be true. There for that bit about the general being fact only needs some of your thoughts written in to explore the possibilities which could be true. And you then have a fiction. Even the short about the cat problem is only fact to the person who experienced it. Even the Generals' experience is only fact to him. Even so your version sticks to the facts your version is a fact based with your knowledge of supposition. Thus a fiction. That would have been a good laugh to have seen the faces on the those police officers. Use any fact you know you can establish as true and make up what you think would be a sound, but still fiction story around it. Then you have a good story to tell the grand children about the greatest hero's of your own family. Of course, if it gets out, that you have a great hero in your family tree allot of people might want to come around to shake the tree to get the rest of the story. In that case I hope you have enough facts to cover your fiction. :teehee: Have Fun!
