Give me your simple requests!

REQUESTS CLOSED FOR NOW

So right now I'm working on my WIP Immersive Quests. However, every time I finish a quest I release it in the WIP thread for testing and feedback. The next time that happens won't be a little while since my computer broke and right now I'm only able to use this one for 2 hours.

But when I have those extra times, I generally bugfix my current mods and make new ones. Last time I made Simple Taxes. Pretty quick, updated it a few times, within 2-3 days (the testing period).

So next time, I'd like feedback on what I should make next. Nothing huge since I'll only have 2-4 days depending (most likely 3 or 4 in this case, it's a little longer). So what should I do? Here's my thoughts:

Class System - A very simple message box oriented class system. There is another overhaul out there to do this and more so I probably won't do this unless you guys want me to.

Detect Items - A simple lesser ability that will allow you to detect all items over a customizable value (or value:weight ratio).

Don't really have any more ideas...

I'm liking the second one but if you've got more ideas that would be great. Nothing too big though - keep it simple.

I would love to see a mod where I could look at the map & have all the icons for custom modded homes/locations, etc. be a different color than the icons for vanilla/DLC location icons.

I know there is already a mod that changes colors of the icons, but it does not differentiate between custom mods & vanilla/DLC locations, only by location type, such as cities vs dungeons, etc. I'd rather be able to see all the new mods I've downloaded be a different color so I could easily keep track of them & remember to go there :)

Before people start bombarding you with requests, what is your skills?

Scripting?

Texturing?

Level Design?

3d Modeling?

or just Creation Kit tweaks?

Scripting and Quest Design certainly (and some Magic Effects). Edited by Matthiaswagg

Unfortunately, that's not very simple.

So, could I expect you to do some blood magic FX if I formally ask you to do that? Edited by AfroGamerNinja

Expect? No, not at all.

I'm looking for ideas. I'll pick it up if I think it's interesting.

And if I were to create this FX, what would it be for? It's more about creating a complete mod for the public and myself to enjoy, not a single effect.

I wondered if this was the case, otherwise we might have seen it by now.

Maybe I should clarify?

An idea. On it's own. A complete (but fairly simple) mod.

ToppDoggs, while too complex to do in a short time period, is a great example of what I mean.

Just something on it's own, not related to other mods (patches, etc.)

More examples can be found in the OP.
