TehBuddha
I've created a cabin, near the temple of the ancestor moth. aAnd it seems to attract every single resident of the Shivering Isles. And no, I didnt place them there. Even making the place Illegal to enter, they still did. After locking the door, I found out that they head south, down the mountain... presumably heading back to the shivering isles. I followed them pretty far, without interfering if they were attacked, I just hung back, most of them ended up dead by the time they reached the area south of Bravil (I have OOO installed). Does anybody know what might have happened? I DEFINATELY didnt place them there. Also, I didnt think thy could leave the Shivering Isles, due to the fact that the Gatekeeper has the key... Thanks in advance ~ Buddha
Crazy_M
I don't know the solution but this made me laugh. Though, you're sure that you haven't placed any quest items or markers with your building? If it's a SI structure there may be something attached. I'm not sure. Have you looked at the SI characters' AI?
TehBuddha
I havnt checked the AI, but the building is a Lower class home from bruma, so that shouldnt be a problem, and the only markers I have are the Map marker, and the teleport marker(for the door). Crazy_M
Hmmmm. This is a mystery. So both markers are definately in correct positons? In interior and just outside the exterior? (I'm not trying to make you out as dumb or anything, but I find my things sometimes fly all over the place or I can't find them). I'd say to check the AI and see what's going on with them. Do they physically come through the SI portal and walk or just appear at your cabin? Other than that, I am not a very useful person sorry ;__;
TehBuddha
Im not actually sure if they walk there or not, I fast travelled to Azuras shrine, walked down the hill, and they were there, waiting outside... Yeah, the markers are definately correct. I'll check the AI later, im going off now.

Maybe you accidently pressed a button or did something in haste or looking away from the monitor for a brief second without realising it when creating that cabin in the Editor which made it a travel point for SI npcs. It could also be another mod interfering with the npcs path grid or whatever its called. I had to remove Bomrets Normal Textures because it was making OOO npcs go off in strange directions or gather all in one spot. It could be a trigger like weather from another mod causing the npcs to think thats a destination to head for.

That can cause NPCs to wind up in odd places - as long as there is a step nearby. :teehee:
ub3rman123
You could have accidentally made the cell anme something that the SI residents have in their AI to visit. Which specific characters were visiting the cell? It could be pinned down if they all were from the same area. For good measure, what's the editor ID of the cell? TehBuddha
It was called 'Khajiits House', because I didnt know what to name the NPC owner of the house  I moved it sothe, on the banks of the niben, or near enough, and they still appeared in the cell. So I just deleted it and made a teleport to the basement insted
