What Weapons...

How many weapons do you carry when you set out on a quest? How many weapons are on your person when you set out for a few days of adventuring?

My character is a blade man. He usually takes two swords and a dagger. Lately he's been carrying Umbra, a Daedric short sword, and a glass or ebony dagger. He uses spells to attack distant enemies.

Daedric shortsword and bow, 100 Silver arrows, and 30 glass arrows. A far cry from my MW character, lugging around Trueflame and Almalexia's sword, 5 Glass jinkblades, the Morag Tong knife, a glass claymore, and some other blades. I miss my glass jinkblades.

I usually run around with my Akavari Katana with an enchanted Akavari Dai Katana for backup (to up my blade skill), but while doing the main quest I tended to pickup whatever the daedra dropped and proceeded to give them some of their own medicine.

At that point I was not skilled enough to repair magical equipment so I picked up a lot of them and so made my fortune.

Of course I also zapped them with whatever scrolls they dropped, or whatever I had enough magica for to get my targets attention and to soften him up before turning him into a container with his buddy's blade...

I usually cruise around with my custom 500 damage-point steel short sword enchanted with a custom 250 fire damage enchantment spell. As my secondry weapon of choice, i carry my custom 1000 damage-point daedric bow for those pesky ranged enemies. I also carry a handy 100 damage-point silver dagger just for good measure. I go for the 'one-hit-one-kill' kind of armory.

I usually start with the akaviri warblade you can buy from Jensine but as I like to sneak and get 6x bonus on sneak strikes I swap to a good one handed weapon when one is available. I use in-game items rather than create my own as I don't want to make anything uber powerful. What I use is therefore dependent upon level. Currently I have (all dwarven) Longsword of Shocking and Bow of Infernal Frost. I also have a War axe of Shocking for levelling up (a strategy of putting skills I don't use much as majors).
