Fonger Posted June 14, 2010 Share Posted June 14, 2010 i think you got confused with the oblivion bit. i ment fallout 3. i might give it a go but it would be a big annoyance if i had to start all over again cos it mucks the game up. i jast started my second playthrough with FWE and was hoping just to add the DLC components for FWE and keep playing.not much different in the functional mechanics between obliv and fallout so you expect steam to install FO3 Goty to a different directory from FO3 steam??? or do you use two different implementations of steam? and are you planning to install FO3 Goty on the alternate manifestation of Steam? dissentuk Posted June 14, 2010 Share Posted June 14, 2010 i figured it could be a simple matter of folder structure. if steam decides to install the game as fallout 3 GOTY as opposed to fallout 3 it could create another folder in my steam/apps/common ect. which would create porblems with reading the mods and save game files. but yea. ill figure it out Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
