Tar
Hi again  After starting to play this awesome game there is one thing I seriously miss. Often in Skyrim it pop up messages on the screen about all kind of things, especially in upper left corner and some in the middle of the screen. Sometimes I'm too slow to read these onscreen messages and the message is gone.So I wonder is there is some kind of log in the game where I can view onscreen messages? and if there is how do I use it? Jannifer
Tar, there isn't such a log. Some games will have a section in your journal where you can read these things, but Skyrim doesn't. Most of the time, they're very simple messages like "6 gold added" or "You have contracted Bone Break Fever." If you've contracted a disease, you can see that when you use the Tab menu ingame (as if you were going to level up) and checking under Active Effects. Other than that, you'll just have to practice reading faster.
Tar
Thanks for replying Jannifer  ok nothing to do about that, I also search for mods but there is non to be found. hehe yeah...hopefully it getter better after some time.... anyway, I have thought about other ways to make this issue better but did not found anything so I ask again:1. Is it possible to increase duration of this messages?2. what about repeating each message twice?3. Can the messages be moved to another location on screen? hehe...I have to try
Jannifer
Tar, I haven't found a mod that changes where those messages appear or anything else about them. They actually stay up longer than you'd think, so it's a matter of being more aware when they pop up. I was frustrated in the beginning also because I thought they were too fast. Then, I realized the problem was that I was too slow to realize they were there...lol
