Follow / Track Authors

I didn't find any suggestion like this in previous posts so here's my suggestion:

 

It would be awesome to be able to follow / track authors to get notifications about,

for example, completely new uploads.

 

I hope this finds its way to an update :D

If you friend somebody, you can change a notification option so you see new files by your friends. But that's it so far.

I hope I am not necro-ing the thread too much.

 

I wanted to suggest the same thing, as it would be a bit creepy [and maybe rude too] to send friend requests to users you've never exchanged words with.
