cabraxusb
Hiya all! I hope someone can help me... I got a saved game file off of the Nexus, and would really like to use the face again for a new char... the problem is that I have no idea what the slider settings were for the character (since it isn't mine). So, I figured, maybe I could somehow import the char into the toolset & then export it for use as a preset. It works in theory, but I'm such a newbie to the toolset that I have absolutely no idea how to do it. Is there a tutorial out there for how I can do this, or could someone walk me through it? I would really appreciate any help I could get. Thanks a million in advance. Cabraxusb
DarkeWolf
Heyas! There's an alternate method for what you are wanting to do. You just copy the name of the morph the character from the savegame is using, and paste it into a savegame for the new character.Kind of the same as what you're wanting, but without having to deal with an additonal .mor/.mop file. http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=449 This method has been used by MANY folks, including myself. So it does work well. Just remember tho that the value for the morph is invisble, so it doesnt show up, but you can still copy it. Also when pasting it into the new character's save game to use PASTE VALUE not PASTE, or you'll botch up the savegame  Hope this helps, and enjoy! Kaerar
What's not mentioned is that armour is also copied too. It doesn't remember which specific armour, just the base type. I wish someone would make an editor to change the binary to mor/mop format ;)
