Armorer

I've never really used armorer much, just recently I've gotten the Expert perk. For some reason I thought that once something was repaired to 125% it improved itself and reset to 100%, and might even be ready to repair again. Well, that turned out to be a big disappointment. I'm kinda bummed that all that armorer practice just tacked on another 25% health onto everything.

Well, light armor is now almost useless - just not enough protection. How much Feather will fit as a constant effect on heavy armor? Will it hold enough to reduce it's weight to the level of light armor? I just can't lug it and a decent amount of loot around.

Didn't think about a buff to strength, it didn't occur to me. My strength is already 100, but am I correct in thinking that the extra will increase carry capacity and fatique but not melee damage?

Also, the expert perk is good because not only will your equipment wear down slower, it also is more effective- 125% health means 125% effectiveness. With the master perk (One repair hammer lasts a lifetime), this skill becomes one of the best in the game.

It should increase your melee damage too. Strength doesn't affect fatigue IIRC, Endurance does.

Armorer is still a vital skill to have. The perks don't sound that bad to me either. ^^ Just try playing a character without it, and you'll never doubt its usefulness again. ;)

Sigils Stones can impart enough Feather to easily negate the weight of any Heavy Armor piece (and them some).

The trick of the matter is that if you attain high enough ranking in Heavy Armor (Expert and Master), pieces of Heavy Armor you equip on your character reduce in weight as if they had been Feathered.

So, if you're enchanting Feather effects to haul as much loot as you can— go nuts with it. If you're enchanting simply to take the prodigious weight of Heavy Armor out of your inventory concerns, then save the enchanting opportunity for something more interesting and focus on mastering the Heavy Armor skill instead.

Light armor works great for me. I'm wearing a full set of elven now and it protects just as good if not better than Ebony. I have mastery in Light Armor by the way.
