Povuholo Posted May 31, 2006 Share Posted May 31, 2006 I'm working on my mod based on the game Golden Sun, which has no name yet. On my Mod Site there are a few screenshots, but a lot still has to be updated and the index text isn't appearing. The screenshot page is a bit messed up too, but at least you can view it! Anyway, the mod is a quest mod. You have to light the four lighthouses with the elemental stones you recover from a temple. I've suprised myself when I fixed a mistake in a quest tutorial I read. Which I fixed all by myself, while I never was that great with scripts, dialogue and quests. In MW the two quests I made were based on scrolls with text! So, i'm learning a lot about the CS while making the mod, as well as scripting. So.... what are YOU working on? Quests, new weapons, armors, spells? I'm working on a (mostly light) armor and weapons shop featuring retextures and nifskope cut/pastes. (At the moment I don't have six hours per item to learn to weight paint new structures from Blender.) You can do a lot with nifskope - for instance, I've added armor value to retextured irons, so people can have armor value and still see their rings, and I've got invisible helmets for people who want to be able to see their hair. And you know those neat spiky gauntlets and boots that used to be part of the dumb-looking Arena wear? Now they're sold separately. Much of my armor is bump-mapped, and I do almost all my own normal maps. It's a darker-themed shop with Dremora shopkeepers. I have new voices I created using Audacity, but I'm still trying to get them to show up ingame as well as in the CS. If this one goes over well, I'm planning another one featuring almost all armored clothes, with new ring and amulet meshes. Belle21603 Posted July 25, 2006 Share Posted July 25, 2006 I'm working on several mods so here is my list: Two ship for sale one off the coast of Anvil and another in the IC waterfront (complete with crew and first mate who will eventually follow you around). If anyone has ever come across that burned down alchemist east of the IC, I've add an underground cavern to the well there. My Sload quest is on hold until I can get a Sload creature, but when I do that will be a two part episode type quest (it will be fairly large and since everyone likes episode content I thought I'd get in on it). A recreation of Anvil to what it used to be (see bethesda's concept and screenshot) plus I'm also adding details to all cities. I've already done Bravil (everyone should have seen Bethesda's original screenshot of Bravil and the Bravil that came with the game) well I've restored and enhanced it. And I'm also making a few new quests one involve travelling to Oblivion to avenge a brother who was stabed in the back (this Oblivion will look quite different from any Oblivion you've seen). First part of my Gemhavens trilogy called "Weapons of the Dinnertable" 4. The flying dutchman. Plane-like ship that can dive and fly :) 5. A planet up high above the White Gold Tower. V1.1I took A Heros Retreat, Cosmetic Compelation, and Growlfs Hot Clothes and Armor mods and merged them.I put all of Growlfs clothing in one of the bedroom cupboards and the armor in another. I also used a set of the clothing to re-dress Sheila the servant. I then changed her face and hair from the Cosmetic Compelation. V1.2Redecorated the 2nd floor. Made a new race called Amazonians (1.3 scale Imperials) and made guards with them. Put sexy heavy armor on them and made them nearly invincible. So don't go attacking them. V1.3In progress now.... - Completing the original modders upstairs room called Heros Spa & Training Center. I renamed though. It will have a small square room on the same level as the new dining room. Then stairs leading down. This downstairs area will effectivly be underground since the hill the retreat sits on slops up pretty drastically behind it. I may also change the location to the door of this cell to the back side of 1st floor so I wont have to mess with any building exteriors. Is this cell will include Training Room, Showers (I may have to merge in a bathing mod for this part), & Servants Quarters. - I am thinking about also removing the wall between the magic center and the master bedroom. Make this a larger bedroom with 2 doorways. And add doors to the doorways as well. Or maybe just the long curtains. - Complete AI for the 2 new Guards. Minus taking a shower if I cant get that in on this release. Future Additions - More guards for 24hr post coverage.- Many Hot Body Tramps. (This is why I am looking for a conversation script that will have NPCs check for a conversation within earshot before they initiate one themselves. Hearing 6 different conversations at once is annoying. Sounds like I'm in a contail party)- More light poles along the path leading to the main road.- Exterior guards and guardhouse.- Lounge chairs on the deck (only if I can find a way to create a new position for NPCs so they lay on their backs)- Larger deck so I can make the waterfall run into a swimming pool. (Looking for a water mod that makes water clear. I have the blue lagoon mod but it only makes the water clear when underwater. And not looking down into the water to see the bottom.)
