NukaCola Transparency Issue

I'm new to forums so I'm sorry in advance if i do something wrong.

I've had this issue since Sky-kappa first released the Nuka mod and have had a solution file posted by a fellow modder a single time in the past. Since then I have lost that fix, but I'm incredibly sick of the odd opacity of the empty Nuka's.

How do I make SkyKappa's Empty NukaCola transparent?

Playing with nothing but Fallout 3.esm activated doesn't help either, this is driving me crazy I can't figure it out.

How do I make SkyKappa's Empty NukaCola Opaque??

you can remove the transparency by just removing the nialphaproperty from that nitristrip(or nitrishape).via nifskope.

Oops, I meant to type "How do I make SkyKappa's Empty NukaCola's transperent" not opaque, my bad.

right then. you can probably get away with just adding nialphaproperty, try flag 4845. open the nimaterialproperty and tone the alpha slider down to say 0.75. If the diffuse map has an alpha map then there won't be a need to mess with the nimaterialproperty.

If you get any artifacts then the mesh will need to be fixed by a modeller. < it's likely just a case of importing it, press 1 button and reexport without stripifying.

I checked the mesh all that data is there, and I tried dropping nimaterialproperty alpha down to .75 but I didn't see a difference in-game. SkyKappa's empty soda bottle mesh hasn't been edited by me in any way for my game so its exactly the same file everyone else has for theirs. Off the top of your head, you cant think of anything that would cause something like this eh? Do you use SkyKappa's replacements?

I don't have skykaapa'a replacements...but I just DLed the nuka cola themed one... I presume that is where you have got hold of those cola bottles?

anyway... I presume it's sodabottle01.nif

in the NiAlphaProperty, use flag 4845 like I said and all will be good.
