Error Installing Oblivion on 64-bit Win7

[CDP5280]

I'm getting this error trying to install Oblivion on Windows 7 64-bit.This pops-up a few seconds after clicking the install button, has anyone seen this error before?

I've already tried safe mode and my discs are squeaky clean, not a scratch on them.

The error says "access is denied" not " cyclic redundancy check". Under file it would say what file is corrupted and under error it would say "Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)" if that was the case. Are you running as admin when you install the game?

Remember to install Oblivion outside of Program Files and >>>UAC<<< monitoring. Install it in C:Games\Oblivion, installing it in C:Program Files is not a good idea if you plan on adding a mod!

I wasn't able to figure out was causing the error, but I found a work-around. I copied all the files from the disc to my desktop and successfully installed Oblivion from there.
