witchking
If you are doing the bloodbath quest for the champion of Moonmouth...fort? I found a good way to massacare the lot with great ease.First get a summon skel. minion spell, I found that the bone charm is good for this...go to the basement of the Council Club and open the room door, this will force whats her name to turn around and face the opp. wall. now summon the minion, use a shield spell of some sort and then chop the thief, your minion will appear on the other side of the door. When the other five 'bad people' come down to attack they will run into the skeleton. You will be partially shielded by the door. I used a dwarven claymore to finish off all five as they fought with my undead friend. The first time I tried this I was pushed into the room and the door was closed, the five guys where of course walking around furiously and I was trapped for eternity!!! Note: when you go back to talk to the Champion-guy make sure that you do not let any of the many gaurds walking around the keep, see you...duhhh. After talking to champion guy the death-warrent is dropped. wheww...
HeLLL
Hey welcome to the forums there buddy. Im going to move this to the spoilers section since it seems to fit in there a bit better. B) Good idea though <on how to kill them> I always found that no matter what I did I was always going to get a warrent put on me :)
eldritch
Have a spellmaker build you a fortify personality spell - 100 pts for 3 seconds. You can taunt them rather quickly with that and avoid any brushes with the law.
ThetaOrionis01
Yeah, taunting works...it's just so mind-numbingly boring that you'll probably find yourself gnawing on your desk or yelling insults at your monitor before the first of the 'bad people' actually attacks you. Getting 'you are pathetic' as a response 87 times in a row transcends boring. Pity there isn't an option of insults you can select to speed the process up a bit: 'Your motherr was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!' 'You what? You dare insult my parents??? DIE, N'WAH!!!!!!!!' -> SetFight 100 or 'You are the most obnoxious, trumped-up, farty little smeghead it has ever been my misfortune to encounter' 'You n'wah!!!!! DIE, fetcher!!!' -> SetFight 100
eldritch
Trust me. If you have a reasonable (40+) Speechcraft skill and use the +100 personality spell you'll get almost instant gratification. The problem with the Fortify Personality spell is when you use it for Admire. You can get a quick short term gain in the target NPc's disposition which will be subtracted from his original disposition the next time you see him/her (at least in the pre-patched version). I only use that spell now for taunting - works great on Ordinators and High Hands. You can slaughter them one by one in front of their comrades (in many cases) with impunity. Good way to while away a couple of hours.
ThetaOrionis01
Lol - making ordinators hate you is slightly less challenging than persuading a toddler that peas are round green smarties.... UNfortunately, when I did the bloodbath quest my speechcraft was at a very unadvanced level... My way of dealing with the massacre involved a selectively placed mark spell...taking out the smith on the upper floor first, then luring all others into the basement.... It worked...eventually
HornedReaperMJL
Say i know one other way you could do this quest (i havent done it yet though) Use the dagger you get for completeing the Marong Tong guild. A quick slash on each person should be all you need. Another thing you could try is using some cheapo absorb health spell to drain them would work best with a small radius that way you kill all of them slowly with 1 spell. Hope these ideas work or help in some way i gotta go try this quest some time. Say there isnt any quests available from these guys is there? Just so i dont sever any quests i may want to do later. DreamOfTheRood
To Horned Reaper,No. These are all Camonna Tong baddies, who you pretty much wipe out if you do any cave hunting at all. These particular Dunmer are the rich and powerful Camonna Tong members in Balmora - and they're causing Larrius Varro much trouble. The main problem with your idea (though it is a good one) is that you get this quest by about the time you hit level 6. If you're going to be getting to become the Morag Tong Guild Master, you're going to be way beyond level 6, and that's a major disparity. It's not much of a challenge then, and this quest is meant to be challenging. Unless you've dealt with the Fighters Guild quest in Caldera, this is you're first quest with multiple enemies in a single area. Dream ...
HornedReaperMJL
Yeah i had that in mind somewhere if i find it again  . Well i still think the weak absorb health spell would work pretty well. How about this get a cheapo paraylise spell to help you out. I know you can buy some cheap sword that has paraylise for 5 seconds thats long enough to keep one guy from hacking away at you. Guess you could always visit that armorer guy too he sells those tanto weapons that can summon daedric weapons could be useful for low new characters since it'll give you a nice deadly weapon. Well least i know those guys are safe to kill i totally forgot that they were all Cammonna Tong thanks dream.
Marxist ßastard
Well, the Hlaalu / Miscellaneous quest to find out who killed Ralen Hlaalo is connected to them, but you won't break the quest by killing them all off.
